Oh really?
This is the largest game in the world from next month.

QUOTE
The title boasts 5,560 square miles of accessible in-game terrain, making it officially the largest playable environment in a console game ever. The accolade, presented to Fuel developers Asobo Studio, was confirmed by Guinness World Records, who have verified the record for inclusion in the next Guinness World Records Gamers Edition of the best-selling guide.

"We've been very impressed with the technology powering Fuel, and I'm pleased to welcome Asobo and Codemasters into the Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition," said Gaz Deaves, Video Games Records Manager for Guinness World Records, "What we've seen from Fuel places it right at the cutting edge of the open-world racing genre and really raises the bar for games developers in the future."

The size of Fuel is pretty mind boggling. To put it into perspective, if players choose to drive from one side of the map to the other, it will take over 3 hours straight. This virtual playground offers 19 environmental regions and features some of the most dramatic weather effects ever seen in a racing game. The title's free-roaming nature allows players to pick and choose their route, races and career progression, offering almost limitless ways to play. We can't wait to get our hands on a review copy - hopefully it doesn't have to travel half the virtual world to get to us!

Hm... they should compare that to FFXI. But then again... in FFXI you either have a chocobo or you're running. If you were to travel all the expansion packs' maps it takes over 5 hours, but that's on foot.

EDIT: This game should be on PC, ya? If so.. I'll buy it, that'll be a game I can rely on that'll kill plenty of time lol

I'm disturbed at the fact that Grand Turismo isn't out yet. Shit there's not even a due date for it either. And this was supposed be the largest racing game for all consoles including PC blink.gif

So? You can go any where you want. Its not like you have to complete certain races and unlock a specific region..
This game is like start.. drive wherever you want.. race and blah blah.
