I work in a cubicle. During the week, I sit in my room, in the dark, drinking, on the computer.

I've become an obsessive neat freak, on top of being a drunk and an introvert. Lysol a plenty.

The weekends, on the other hand, that's a different story. I release my Bankai Friday nights.

Line 4: Lysol a plenty (again).

Yeah, it's become epic (as far as coverage goes). I didn't think of making a thread here because it's been talked about so much (outside the interwebs) and on NPR.

Just be clean, guys. It's simple, make sure to wash your hands consistently, or simply just have good hygiene, if you start to have flu like symptoms, call the hospital and let them know that you have flu like sickness and that you're on your way so that they bring you into another part of the hospital where you can't contaminate people in the emergency room.

If you do in fact have the flu, make sure to drink plenty of water, and make sure to eat. Hell buy 10 bags of chips if you have to, just make sure you eat and don't let the flu get the best of you.

From my understanding it's killing people ages from 15-24, especially those who think they can ride it out. You can't... if you have the flu or any symptom you need to go to the hospital. It's making a lot of people sick in Mexico, U.S. and it has reached Canada yesterday morning, or at least discovered yesterday.

lol there's already a thread brah

http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=229029

And no... I'm not too worried as I've been practicing very very good hygiene. I've already lysoled my office at work and have been washing my hands after making contact with things at work.

I do fear that there's many people out there who are uneducated and could face a strong possibility that they catch the flu. All of Europe from my understanding has stopped their flights to the U.S. which is not good because that's going to hurt our profits from tourists.

Just letting you know, they might cancel those flights this week. Until this is all over. Unless it's a business trip.. don't be worried if she gets quarantined.

I'm not that concerned. I don't feel like it's a clear and present danger. There has been hella fearmongering these past few days between the swine flu and the "shooter" who's still on the run. I'm sure if I came in contact with either of those things, it could prove fatal (well, maybe not the professor; he didn't just kill random people), but there are so many other things that could kill me (like, say, deer in the middle of the highway) that there's no point in stressing.

i'm not worried about it. i stay away from sick people 'cause i can't afford to be any kind of contagious or i'll have to miss work (food service). plus whenever i feel myself getting any kind of cold/flu sick i just go for the theraflu. it usually does the trick.

Alright so apparently we have stupid people who don't give a shit about others. Some idiot (Mexican, no hate) who just so happened to have this flu, decided to go to Disney World, in Orlando, Florida... where 500,000+ people are typically enjoying themselves. The stupid ***hole f*ck went to the hospital to find out he has the flu and admitted that he was in Disney World. So now.. my f*ckin state has it.

If you have flu like symptoms, have a brain, and go to the f*ckin hospital because you might come across someone like me who's willing to kill your ass before you start infecting everyone else around you.

^most likely he visited while the virus was still in its latent period so there were no symptoms. or he just thought it was just a simple common flu and no biggie. and besides, if its not for him it would've been another person who's brought it around.

Governor of California has called state of emergency!

Another update, CDC confirmed that at this moment there's no way of stopping this virus as it continues to mutate/change repeatedly.

It's so weird I was watching this interview of a family who has caught the swine flu and they said it's no different from a normal flu. So I'm not scared and I pray when I get on the bus to go to class tomorrow no one sneezes and sh-t all over me. My friends mom was like punch them in the face if they do. haha. but yeah, eat soup. drink gingy ale, and nyquil if it's no different supposedly?

I actually watched TV last night.

Is it just me, or is this whole swine flu thing exaggerated? The media makes every new issue seem like its going to lead our society into an immediate apocalyptic doom. That's cool, I guess, I mean, if you're into that sort of thing. _unsure.gif

^Lawlz.

And sad, first confirmed Swine Flu death in the US today, a 23 month baby :(. While it is obviously exaggerated and what not in the media, it is still heartbreaking that a bb died. Not to mention the 150+ in Mexico.

Speaking of Eugenics, did you know the U.S. strongly supported Hitler's Eugenic engineers, it was tied in with IBM too (not just for technologies in transferring data / voice)? In fact, before Hitler reigned, the U.S. was doing exactly that...

I knew that. After WWII, and Hitler's regime, the U.S hired alot of Hitler's scientists and engineers to work for them. Most of them resided in California. Yes, to my surprise, California has an immense history of Eugenics. =\

then i guess you can give some sources backing up that the white house owns and primarily funds the world health organization, because that's what you said. at the moment, i don't see how the white house owns it. so i'd need more information on it.

all i've gotten from this so far is that they contribute money, which...yeah duh. that's not the same thing is making the claim that they OWN it, or that them raising the level is equal to the white house raising it. i'll read the other half later cause the game is on.

i'm not trying to take away the responsibility from obama, i don't even know where you get this. all i've said is that i don't see yet how you got from point A to point D. no so far i haven't seen any reason to believe that obama's calling all the shots of the world health organization. the U.S. contributing money like many other countries do to a worldwide organization is not enough to convince me that obama is in charge of the world health organization. i know that's shocking to you.

Right... well legitimately speakin, as a president, regardless of who they are, they have power over this country (at least to those who aren't aware). So a nation wide emergency can happen in Canada and in Mexico but can't happen in the U.S. unless the president has been given all the paper work and comes to a rational conclusion. Yay or nay.

What upsets me is that it's been what? 1 week since this breakout? There isn't enough evidence to prove that this flu is in fact deadly. Sure Mexicans died.. but seriously look at their health system there, it's no wonder. Especially when it first starts? That's the virus' most potent point then it starts to die or simply starts to mutate. These mutations it keeps having isn't even making it stronger if anything it's gonna keep mutating just to exist but in the long run it'll just simply die.

This whole level 5 bullshit is just that, bullshit. Only 1 person in the U.S. has died... many have recovered in California and NY. Give it more time, lets see if there's an actual start of an epidemic -.-
