i personally love this movie and i have seen in 3 times in the theatres and i also own the DVD

i think that the movie is better than the book but some parts from the book should have been included like the love scenes and more of Allie's illness.

if you havent seen the movie, i recommend watching it and im pretty sure that you're convinced by now by the look of our poll. :-D

sorry i didnt make a "havent seen it choice" but this topic is for those who have seen it and for the ones who want to get a little glimpse of what its about.

i saw the notebook the day spiderman came out. it was good. but i didnt cry as much as a walk to remember. im looking for the book at the library. i gave it an 8

I give it a 7. Too much lovemaking, something that I didn't expect, but I still love the movie. The plot was great. Some things were very predicatable, but overall, it was a good movie. Ryan Gosling was so hot.

well if you think about it, the storyline wasn't that special. after the scene at the carnival, their love just goes on and on... nothing important.

omg i LOVE it!! racheal mcadams(who plays allie) is soo pretty!! and Noah is soo HOTT!! and when they were walking home from the movie theater,they layed in the street,the car was coming,they ran to the wall,and when Allie laughed... made ME laugh..shes soo awesome!! omg i didnt cry in that movie although i want to..i have that movie too..gota watch it until i cry

haha i FINALLY saw the freaking movie...i've been dying to so i bought it, but before i had time to watch it my aunt who lives an hour away borrowed it...and still hasn't returned it. it was on tv, i got lucky.
it was effing amazing, i absolutely loved it. ryan gosling and rachel mcadams were just brilliant and i just loved the storyline. i'm a sucker for love stories...i cried though. mind you...i tend to when it comes to movies like such...so yeah. just had to say that.

I have to be honest... I HATE CHICK FLICKS! I hate it when they try to make you say "aawww" or make you cry... I've seen chick flicks that have attempted to get into my brick wall...

But the Notebook was the first chick flick to ever have me bring down a tear or make me go "awwwwwwww" .... One of the best I've seen.

This is a movie that I want to hate, but don't. Having said that, it isn't my favorite either. There was some genuine poignant moments accentuated with some pretty fine acting. The story loses steam towards the end however and parts of the film were tainted with overdone melodrama.

The movie was NOT as good as the book imo. I didn't enjoy the scenes with James and Gena though, and I think that's what makes the movie only ok. Ryan and Rachel definitely saved the flick.
