more than one div layer/box on a xanga? Options

is it possible to have more than one div layer, also referred to as a "box" I believe, on one's xanga? because I've been trying to do that, and nothing I try works. I can't close the first div layer to create the second one, because then the second one just appears directly beneath the first one, instead of where I want it to be positioned (even when I use the positioning tag).

my xanga is at http://www.xanga.com/confused1_of_2007 if you would like to see what I mean by div layer/box. I want to make another div layer/box on the left below the words "f*** off" (censored for all the little kiddies out there who are offended by such language). if anyone could offer any assistance it would be most appreciated.
