I don't think it really matters, unless the guy respects you and vice-versa age shouldn't have anything to do with it.

It depends on their age and maturity. I think that when a senior dates a freshmen it's sick. But when your older age isn't as big of a deal.

Unless it really bothers the two in the relationship, then I don't think anyone else should butt in, in it. So it depends on the couple.

same here. i think it all depends if you're older or not. because i mean if you're a boy and you're 18 years old and you date a girl that's 8.. thats just wrong. but if it's like 20 and 30. then that's ok.

def when a person is older it's more ok, but when they are younger and below 18.... doesn't seem kinda right...petaphile-ish... but I wouldn't want that big of an age difference...one will be all old and wrinkly and cannot do anything and you could still be active and ready to do stufff

ermm.gif well my relationship with muh gurl is 5 years apart... it's about respect frm both sides... Also the maturity matters... I dnt plan to touch her until she hits the ryt age.... I knw you guys are gonna be hella pissed about this... buh as long as you love each other.... daz all that matters.... _smile.gif

Do you care about wot other people say about you and your special one? If you do, then your relationship is about other people not you and that person...

Thats true, as long as u love eachother it shouldnt matter. But around the teens and the early 20s, 3 years is the max until people start saying "wow he/shes old, or damn he/shes really young). But as you get older the acceptable age difference seems to grow.

3 years isn't a lot...

but look at it this way. A 12 year old girl going out with a 15 year old guy...

*shiver*

When your younger (like...under 20) its best to stick to people around your age, or perhaps even a year older.

When your over 20, it doesn't matter.

True love doesn't have limitations wink.gif

BUT i think where the line is crossed if someone young goes out with someone who has white hair (alot),has wrinkles, too much body hair, and/or is saggy.

well, when your around my age [which would be 13], if the guy's a LOT older, people kinda think he's using you. Most people i know and myself don't think thats true though. If the girl's way older, than it's jsut kinda scary to some people. But it really doesn't matter does it? Love is love and age is nothing but a number. it shuoldnt matter; people make such big deals out of this stuff! But anyhoo, if the guys like WAY older, as in lets say you're 13, and that guys 20. then it's jsut wrong. that guys obviosuly a pedifile or something. When you're older 10 years is still quite a bit.. but it's okay still..

at least 4 years difference is good because if it is more then 4 years then it is going to be hard to keep the relationship alive if the girl/guy is below 18 years of age

me and my boyfriend has a three year gap. personally i think that if the people are older (30+) then they can date someone up to ten years. if you're under 30 then you should date someone 5 or less years apart.

i attend a school which we are concurrently enrolled at a college and we attend the high school inside the college campus (junior college/city college) i meet college guys all the time since freshmen year. it's nothing really to me. i've been with someone older than i am.. 4 years is the oldest. my first boyfriend was 17 when i was 14 the he turned 18 while we were still together. the oldest was when i was 15... and he was 19. i learned in my law & justice course with the college that it isn't against the law if you're boyfriend/girlfriend... if you have sex is when you're going against the law. and i'm still a virgin as of now... i'm 17 by the way.

ehh... i think it does depend on the people... but also... you have to think of why that person is going out with someone so much younger... like for Ex. a 20 year old wanting to go out with a 13 year old... age is nothing but a number?... thats a lie... cuz if you have to lie about his age to your family or friends.. than theres something wrong... 4 years should be the max... unless if you're an adult... thats a whole other story

Eh... it depends on the maturity level i guess.... I'm 16... the oldest i would go for is prob 20... BUT if i were to meet a guy that were older than that, and i kinda liked him, then i don't think i'd care how old he'd be.... uunless of course he were like... 30

When you're younger, the age difference should be a lot less, unless if you want to be considered a pedophile. When you get older (20+), the age gap can be wider. _smile.gif

I don't think it really matters, unless the guy respects you and vice-versa age shouldn't have anything to do with it.

I do agree!!! Age aint nothing but a freakin number... 3 years is nothing... im 19 (20 in november) and my man is 23 (today is his birthday) so yeah... it doesnt matter...
