QUOTE
There was a young man who went overseas to study for quite a long time. When he returned, he asked his parents to find him a religious scholar or any expert who could answer his 3 Questions.

Finally, his parents were able to find a Muslim scholar.
Young man: Who are you? Can you answer my questions?

Scholar: I am one of Allah (SubHana Wa Ta`ala )'s slaves and Insha-Allah
(God willing), I will be able to answer your questions.

Young man: Are you sure? A lot of Professors and experts were not able to answer my questions.

Scholar: I will try my best, with the help of Allah( SubHana WaTa`ala).

Young Man: I have 3 questions: 1. Does God exist? If so, show me His shape.

2. What is taqdir (fate)?

3. If shaitan (Devil) was created from the fire, why at the end he will be thrown to hell that is also created from fire. It certainly will not hurt him at all, since Shaitan (Devil) and the hell were created from fire. Did God not think of it this far?

Suddenly, the Scholar slapped the young man's face very hard.

Young man (feeling pain): Why do you get angry at me?

Scholar: I am not angry. The slap is my answer to your three questions.

Young Man: I really don't understand.

Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?

Young Man: Of course, I felt the pain.

Scholar: So do you believe that pain exists?

Young Man: Yes.

Scholar: Show me the shape of the
pain!

Young Man: I cannot.

Scholar: That is my first answer. All of us feel God's existence without being able to see His shape... Last night, did you dream that you will be slapped by me?

Young Man: No.

Scholar: Did you ever think that you will get a slap from me today?

Young Man: No.

Scholar: That is takdir (fate) my second answer........ My hand that I used to slap you, what is it created from?

Young Man: It is created from flesh.

Scholar: How about your face, what is it created from?

Young Man: Flesh.

Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?

Young Man: In pain.

Scholar: Thats it. This is my third answer, Even though Shaitan (Devil) and also the hell were created from the fire, if Allah wants, insha-Allah (God willing), the hell will become a very painful place for Shaitan Allah said “If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you.'

It's extremely easy to understand, but that doesn't make it accurate. Religion is a stupid thing, created by stupid people.

Here's another:

God Vs Science

QUOTE
A science professor begins his school year with a lecture to the students, "Let me explain the problem science has with religion." The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new students to stand.

"You're a Christian, aren't you, son?"

"Yes sir," the student says.

"So you believe in God?"

"Absolutely."

"Is God good?"

"Sure! God's good."

"Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?"

"Yes."

"Are you good or evil?"

"The Bible says I'm evil."

The professor grins knowingly. "Aha! The Bible!" He considers for a moment. "Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you can cure him. You can do it. Would you help him? Would you try?"

"Yes sir, I would."

"So you're good...!"

"I wouldn't say that."

"But why not say that? You'd help a sick and maimed person if you could. Most of us would if we could. But God doesn't."

The student does not answer, so the professor continues. "He doesn't, does he? My brother was a Christian who died of cancer, even though he prayed to Jesus to heal him. How is this Jesus good? Hmmm? Can you answer that one?"

The student remains silent.

"No, you can't, can you?" the professor says. He takes a sip of water from a glass on his desk to give the student time to relax.

"Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?"

"Er...yes," the student says.

"Is Satan good?"

The student doesn't hesitate on this one. "No."

"Then where does Satan come from?"

The student falters. "From God"

"That's right. God made Satan, didn't he? Tell me, son. Is there evil in this world?"

"Yes, sir."

"Evil's everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything, correct?"

"Yes."

"So who created evil?" The professor continued, "If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil."

Again, the student has no answer. "Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things, do they exist in this world?"

The student squirms on his feet. "Yes."

"So who created them?"

The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his question. "Who created them?" There is still no answer. Suddenly the lecturer breaks away to pace in front of the classroom. The class is mesmerized. "Tell me," he continues onto another student. "Do you believe in Jesus Christ, son?"

The student's voice betrays him and cracks. "Yes, professor, I do."

The old man stops pacing. "Science says you have five senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen Jesus?"

"No sir. I've never seen Him."

"Then tell us if you've ever heard your Jesus?"

"No, sir, I have not."

"Have you ever felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or smelt your Jesus? Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ, or God for that matter?"

"No, sir, I'm afraid I haven't."

"Yet you still believe in him?"

"Yes."

"According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your God doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?"

"Nothing," the student replies. "I only have my faith."

"Yes, faith," the professor repeats. "And that is the problem science has with God. There is no evidence, only faith."

The student stands quietly for a moment, before asking a question of His own. "Professor, is there such thing as heat?"

"Yes," the professor replies. "There's heat."

"And is there such a thing as cold?"

"Yes, son, there's cold too."

"No sir, there isn't."

The professor turns to face the student, obviously interested. The room suddenly becomes very quiet. The student begins to explain. "You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, unlimited heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don't have anything called 'cold'. We can hit up to 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold; otherwise we would be able to go colder than the lowest -458 degrees."

"Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-458 F) is the total absence of heat. You see, sir, cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it."

Silence across the room. A pen drops somewhere in the classroom, sounding like a hammer.

"What about darkness, professor. Is there such a thing as darkness?"

"Yes," the professor replies without hesitation. "What is night if it isn't darkness?"

"You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light, but if you have no light constantly you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? That's the meaning we use to define the word."

"In reality, darkness isn't. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?"

The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him. This will be a good semester. "So what point are you making, young man?"

"Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed."

The professor's face cannot hide his surprise this time. "Flawed? Can you explain how?"

"You are working on the premise of duality," the student explains. "You argue that there is life and then there's death; a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought."

"It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it."

"Now tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?"

"If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes, of course I do."

"Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?"

The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he realizes where the argument is going. A very good semester, indeed.

"Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a preacher?"

The class is in uproar. The student remains silent until the commotion has subsided.

"To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, let me give you an example of what I mean."

The student looks around the room. "Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the professor's brain?" The class breaks out into laughter.

"Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor's brain, felt the professor's brain, touched or smelt the professor's brain? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, with all due respect, sir."

"So if science says you have no brain, how can we trust your lectures, sir?"

Now the room is silent. The professor just stares at the student, his face unreadable.

Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers. "I guess you'll have to take them on faith."

"Now, you accept that there is faith, and, in fact, faith exists with life," the student continues. "Now, sir, is there such a thing as evil?"

Now uncertain, the professor responds, "Of course, there is. We see it everyday. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil."

To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light."

The professor sat down.

The simple question is not whether or not god exists, it is why does god want you to believe in him?

Just so long what he creates follows his laws wink.gif

Think about it, you're allowed to have your rights, privacy, and freedom here in the U.S. But if you commit crimes, you should no longer have rights, privacy, nor freedom. This is the same way with the laws of God. If you consistently commit sins, why should you not be held accountable? It clearly doesn't make any sense.

If you were to read the Qur'an, Torah, and or the Bible. You'd learn from a story, about how God feels about adulterers, including men and women who lie with the same sex as they would with the opposite sex.

From that story, we learn that adulterers, including homosexuals, are committing an offense, one of which effects the very foundation of the community.

Ok, I am going to cut the bullshit. I think some parts of the Bible makes god look like an ***hole. I would rather burn in hell for refusing to believe that god is an ***hole, than burn in hell for being one of the people who covered his name in shit.

I will never put Gods name and hate together no matter what people pull out out of the Bible or any other Holy Book. If people can learn to love everyone regardless of whatever differences, why the hell would I believe god cant. Unless you will try and tell me that some people can be more loving, generous, and kinder than god. And if that isn't blasphemy then I don't know what is.

You do realize that every single one of us have a challenge right? Even the mentally handicapped are challenged as well as their keepers. And they will be one of the best rewarded. Our challenge is temptations... if you're a devout Jew, Muslim, or Christian and are fully aware of what's sinful, you'd do whatever you can to not sin even when temptation is there... That's why I fully respect Monks for example, as they meditate/pray for nearly 12 hours a day. They devote their existence to God as slaves.

Anyways that's just how it is... God has given us the laws which we must not break or we will be held accountable, and Jesus will be the witness against us all. Do you understand what you're asking of God? If God were to accept homosexuals all of a sudden, God would be become fallible. Because God is all knowing, if God said it, there's a reason behind it much larger than our rationale.

The part that I said about Adulterers destroying the foundation of the communities, do you not see the trend that's going on in this world? Fatherless children? Who will more than likely spread their seed everywhere and continue to follow the bastard trend? If you go to college, take a couple courses in Sociology... then read the Holy Books. You will see exactly why God has created the laws He's created. It is for the sake of our prosperity. wink.gif

If my dad was telling me that instead of accepting a certain group of people I have to hate and damn them, yes.

So gay people, and fatherless children are ruining the foundation of society? Yup, you convincing me that your right has about the same chance of me convincing you that I am right.

I used fatherless children as an example as to how it's ruining the foundation of a prospering community. If you can't agree... then I'm sorry, you'd need a reality check. Watch some Maury or whatever.

As for homosexuality, the very acceptance of it is a poison to the foundation of the community. Prove to me that homosexuality is in fact part of the natural laws. If you use animals, I'll use the population control argument, which is backed up by plenty of studies. If you claim that homosexuality is part of human life, then I'll use the separated island argument which will logically destroy the existence of homosexuality.

Pick your poison, intrigue me, prove me that God is wrong about homosexuality. wink.gif

rapist, murderers, and thieves do not equal gay people. Plenty of fatherless children become successful.

I don't believe God hated gay people, but the people who found religion a great way to make people believe what they want you to think did. All religious documents have been around man too long for me to deny that they didn't tamper with it.

It's not about their success... do they carry on the foundation of the family? Mother and father, married, having children, and being responsible parents? Or are they more than likely (statistically) going to follow the trend of just sleeping with random women and not being responsible for their seed? (If you understand the trend of bastardized children, you can then realize why abortions even exist)

I don't believe God hated gay people, but the people who found religion a great way to make people believe what they want you to think did. All religious documents have been around man too long for me to deny that they didn't tamper with it.

Can you prove that God didn't dislike gay people through the Bible, Qur'an, or Torah?

It couldn't have been the Romans, since the Romans themselves would sleep with each other. Couldn't be any of the Pharaohs since the Egyptians didn't care for homosexuality... who could have possibly tampered with all 3 Holy Books, phased out thousands upon thousands of the original texts, and mass produced thousands upon thousands of the new versions of all 3 Holy books?

That's just impossible... for example, in Islam, if someone were to re-produce a Qur'an just for the sake of translation, and they made 1... just 1 mistake in the translation, they could be held accountable for that in the court of law. In fact depending on the degree of change that was made they could easily face death.

I can agree that the Bible has been tempered with. The Catholic Church has many more books in their Bible than any other Christian sect. You know when the Bible has been tampered with when there's a "King James" version of the Bible... which is all about being a peon and letting your King rule over you. The Romans modified the Bible for political purposes etc..

Actually the Qur'an is not like the Bible. As the Qur'an is arithmetically, scientifically, and linguistically advanced compared to the Bible. That's the Miracle of the Qur'an.

And it's actually not sad, each rule has a specific reason.

Don't eat swine, why? It's dirty meat. How is that possible? www.ensignmessage.com/archives/porkfacts.html

Don't drink alcohol, why? It distorts your mind. How is that possible? That's a given.

Don't commit sodomy, why? Sodomy is the most dangerous to your health.

etc... you can thank God for knowing what's right from wrong. Otherwise you and I would just be another couple of cavemen stickin our penises into beehives and killing others who looked at us while we fornicated with beehives.

Of course... I don't eat pork. In fact I'm Hispanic and pork is almost as common as eating rice in the Hispanic community (thus being one of the reasons why Hispanics tend to have high blood pressure and high cholesterol). I used to eat pork before I reverted to Islam. And I even used to drink alcohol as well, even with the family during religious holidays. But that changed as well happy.gif

You shouldn't sleep with a woman on her period. Yes, we believe in that as well.

Jews, Muslims, and Christians believe in this, or at least are taught this. It's part of the whole, "cleanliness is close to holiness."

Leviticus (which also talks about Homosexuality) is ridiculous.

QUOTE
And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.

QUOTE
And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even. And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean.

QUOTE
And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for her before the LORD for the issue of her uncleanness.

Do stay away from "your woman" when she in menstruating?

Yes... do you understand those verses? This is about making sexual contact. So it's not literally, "omg stay away from that bloody evil heathen". I do not make sexual contact with my lady when she's on her period.

Yes we also believe that sex should be between a husband and wife. Reason? Because of the possibilities of pregnancy. The man and woman must make the "contract" with marriage, then they'd be allowed to have sex, because at that point if they accidentally get pregnant, they would have to take care of their child regardless. Marital sex is really just about being responsible and knowing the consequences of a pregnancy happening whether it's planned or not.

It is also considered ok if the couple are in love, have sex, accidentally become pregnant, and then get married. But they must get married for the sake of their child.

Marriage is technically a contract between two people who are in love. That's how you show proof of your love for one another. If you're truly in love and genuinely prepared for the consequences of sex, then technically there's nothing wrong with it, just so long as you get married if pregnancy occurs to solidify your love for one another and your future child.

You think that's all? I've quit smoking cigarettes as well. Changed my first name to the Arabic form. Quit fornicating premaritally and got married cool.gif

I've made a lot more sacrifices wink.gif

In what way are religious people weak minded? We're not the ones who face as much stress as non-believers.. it can't be education... hell I've majored in Computer Science and minored in Optical physics lol... It can't be the fear of death... we adore death (not violent deaths of course) as it is the stepping stone to our ultimate fate. So what could it be?

That's like saying... once a child hits 15 years old he/she no longer needs their family to remind them that they belong to their family blink.gif

The reason why organize religion exist is to help each other. Like family would. It is a community of like-minded people. It has nothing to do with weakness of any sort, at least not that I'm aware of, unless you'd like to point them out.

I didn't perfect that mistake.... but maybe next time I'll turn the other cheek when I'm disrespected.

Can you find a post of mine in this forum where I shove my religion onto others? To be quite honest, I don't really care to "shove" my faith in some person's face. I don't mind answering questions, though.

^ I really don't like that this has turned into a debate, but in all fairness, you do post a lot about your religion, to the point where it may seem that you trying to recruit people. Even though I'm pretty sure that isn't your intention, that's the impression people get. I totally get that your religion is an important part of your life, so it comes up a lot in discussion (just like other people talk about their culture), and I do respect that you stick to your beliefs no matter how many people jump on the wagon and say that you are wrong.

I don't mind if people want to go back and forth, but it shouldn't really come to the point where people are saying others are foolish for what they believe. Challenge the religion, don't insult a single follower, imo.

That's just my opinion on the topic overall, this isn't a "moderator" post.

i don't think you can "choose" to be anything under an omniscient god anyway. you can't make choices under a god who knows everything since you can't choose to do anything other than what he already knows you'll do. if you were ever to make a choice that god didn't know the answer to beforehand then god wouldn't know everything.

so i don't really think gay people should worry too much about it because what else could they have done? it's not like it was any big surprise to god that that they are gay.

Ah the free will argument. Everyone in fact does have freewill, just because God knows every possible move you can make doesn't mean you don't have freewill. God isn't forcing you to do anything.. but God does know every possible thing you'll do. Including, knowing that you'll go to hell and heaven, but it is you who makes the choices in your life.

God isn't forcing you to do anything.. but God does know every possible thing you'll do. Including, knowing that you'll go to hell and heaven, but it is you who makes the choices in your life.

no, you have no choice. you can read what you said and know you have no choice. if god knows before you're even born that you will go to hell, then you will go to hell. if he doesn't know which one you'll go to, he isn't omniscient, period.

Then don't bring gays into this argument. This thread had nothing to do with gays, yet you're getting emotional because God finds homosexuality distasteful and disrespectful. rolleyes.gif

Im kind of waiting for you to prove that gays are born gay. Oh wait, you can't so theres obviously no other option.

You will go to hell if you make all the wrong choice...

Every little move we make, has already been known to God... the scenerios would be:

It is Sunday night and you gotta go to work Monday:

A) You go to sleep at 3AM and you wake up late for work, God already knew this scenerio

B) You go to sleep at 11PM and you wake up on time for work, God already knew this scenerio

Every little action you make and every little thought you make has already been known to God.

It's a pattern known to God even before your family tree was created until what it is today.

It's like if you were given these numbers: 1 3 5 7 8 5 0 10 22
Just by lookin at it, you know every single answer to every single math equation ever known to man.

God already knows A "AND" B it's up to you to choose which one... no matter what he already knows the answer for both...

He knows what's gonna happen when you choose A

AND

He already knows what's gonna happen if you choose B.

God already knows why you're going to heaven AND going to hell.

It is your freewill to choose your path. Either way God knows every single reason why you belong in

heaven depending the path you choose AND God knows every single reason why you belong in hell

depending the path you choose.

God already set your millions and trillions etc.. of different endings...

It's up to you to pick which way you want to end it.

Your subconcsious chooses your path, your concsious doesn't know your path cuz you're only living your days.

Every little second in time that you make an action effects your paths you choose.

If you can't understand this, then there's no hope and we should just discontinue the talks of free will.

then we should discontinue the talk, becuase you don't understand that god already knows whether you will take path A or path B. i agree there are two paths, and god knows the outcomes of both. however, since he knows everything, he also has to know WHICH you will take. if he only knew the outcomes and not which the person would choose, then he would no longer know EVERYTHING.

you may think you are "choosing" A or B, and from our perspective, you are. god already knows the choice though, because his omniscience dictates that he must.

just scrap omniscience imo

I don't believe in the quran either.

It's not that I don't believe what the bible and the quaran say-- I don't believe there are actually any words in the books. I believe there are just a lot of blank pages.

And yes, I refuse to open one and look for myself.

According to the Bible, God is all-powerful. Therefore, he would know ahead of time whether someone would turn out to be gay or not. To say otherwise would be limiting God's powers, which would contradict that He is all-powerful.

Because he knows ahead of time that certain babies will turn out to be gay, which does he create them? He obviously has no reason at all to test them since he knows that they will be gay.

You can't even say that God tests anyone because He already knows what will happen. Using "because He is testing .... blah blah blah" is contradictory, therefore incorrect. Right? Makes sense to me.. _unsure.gif

So can you tell me why God creates gays?

^
You mean omniscient. God is all knowing. Being all powerful has nothing to do with knowing one's future and or sexuality.

Now, the gay gene is still a theory and until it becomes proof and truth, I will not believe that there is a gay gene. However, if the gay gene were to be true then I will change my theology to match truth (which happens to be scientific truth.) I believe all Christians should think this way. A lot of scientists spend their entire lives trying to find an answer and when we do, Christians tend to blow it off by saying "God hates you." This is incorrect and wrong. Science and religion CAN and ALWAYS will work together. We don't know a lot of things in the Bible, and science is there to help explain a lot of the things in the Bible.

Now, assuming that there IS no gay gene, that leaves a lot of space for other things. God knows everything because we consider him to be the Alpha and the Omega, aka beginning and end. Now, time is just another dimension. God is all powerful and therefor cannot be bound by the dimension of time. Once you understand or at least try to say "What if" then it begins to make sense.

God has already seen what your life was like and already has seen it end. He knows what you've done, but does not intervene on your own decisions. It really depends on how you see judgement and choice. I personally think I can do whatever the f*ck I want and God will not stop me. He will bump and poke at me at times to remind me that He's there, but in the end, I choose to do what I want.

This is what I'm not a Calvinist because they believe that salvation was already predestined. To say that something is predestined implies that someone has made a decision to do so. We are not predestined for salvation, however we may be predestined for great and amazing things by God's will.

Take it how you will, but reformed Christians believe that we have choice for everything in our life.

Finally, to say that God is "testing" us is a loose term. God does not have to test us to see our faith. However, if God were to intervene at every horrible time in our life, then he would not be a God. He'd be something more of a chauffeur. God doesn't intervene in our lives until it's absolutely necessary. (Divine intervention) Example, if you are a recovering drug addict, God is going to be there to watch over you, he's just not going to help you because you need to get through it yourself. In other words, "tough luck."

It might seem pessimistic, but it's actually a great thing. God promises that whatever we fall into, the water only goes neck-high. All the shitty things that might happen and all the horrible things that will happen in life will be painful. However, it's all for your own good. You will come out a wiser and stronger person.

Medicine is always bitter.

indubitably.

Why would God create harmful plants if He knew that we would turn them into drugs? He must have wanted us to pollute our bodies and die sooner than we had to. He said himself that He is a jealous god. I guess He just wants to spend every minute he can with us. Eternity isn't enough?

Too much of anything is a sin. Even too much of coffee can kill you. Keep that in mind.

Now, I believe marijuana should be used as a drug and not so much of a recreational thing. (Though I will admit that I smoke for recreational use a lot.) Everything in this world has been created for our use. Marijuana is just the smoking of the bud of the plant. Heroine, cocaine, etc., etc., has been chemically synthesized to produce the opiate-like effects. This is obviously quite different to what God's given to us in terms of natural and organic.

Basically, everything is for our use because God has given man dominion over the world. This is why we must use what God has given us for good things. (Also, we're supposed to be "green" because that's also taking care of the world, another Christian doctrine.)

Also, being jealous seems to have a negative connotation towards many people. This is incorrect. God is righteously jealous because he wants us to stay away from the grips of Sin. Sin can be deadly and can even kill you. God is jealous because he wants us to stay out of harm's way.

Not to mention, the concept of time is very short especially in terms of human age. 60 years and blat, you're f*cking dead. Life is very, very short. That's why God so earnestly wants us to stay away from sin as much as possible. It's cancer. He knows it's bad for us and is eventually going to kill us.

Finally, everything is this world has a potential for good. I won't go into much detail, but here's a quote that applies to your argument.

"I think that technology is morally neutral until we apply them. It's only when we use them for good or evil that they become good or evil"

Sorry to pull a CoD4 quote.

-final edit
Now, I'm not condoning the use of marijuana or anything. I mean, I wouldn't want my sister to smoke it, nor would I want my daughter to smoke it. But that has nothing to really do with how the Federal Government and the DEA handle it. Pot smoking should be a moral issue, not a legal issue. I don't know if I want pot to be legalized AKA commercialized, but I do believe that it should be decriminalized. There's too many patients with AIDS and cancer who have gone to prison for having a little bit of kush. That is f*cked up.

I think so. I wouldn't argue that truth was relative, but I really do think everything else can be relative. Guns can be used for great things and they can be used for horrible things. So can drugs. Because... I'm not going to lie, I thought of some epic ass shit when I was stoned out of my mind.

Homosexual temptations? Simple... they're temptations. It is you who needs to figure out right from wrong and to either give into those wrongful temptations or submit to God and refrain from the temptations happy.gif

And what do you mean we can't even say that God tests anyone? Ya... He already knows you're gonna choose option A. AND B. It is you who either chooses to pass the test or fail the test (A. or B.). We're being tested every single nano second of our lives... consciously and subconsciously. wink.gif

Free will. We have the free will to become chemist and choose to use our knowledge for the greater good or evil. It is US who discover these types of creations and it is us who choose how to use them.

Free will.
