I prefer the crumb topping, except it takes longer to make it that way (since you have the extra step of baking it). Tastes a lot better, though.

I bake my mac & cheese and I don't do the crumb topping ![]() Seems you've committed a logical fallacy. The statement "if crumb-topped, then baked" does not imply "if baked, then crumb-topped". ![]() |

^ I've had something like that before but instead of "toasted" it was fried. It's a completely different thing from mac & cheese with a crumb topping, IMO. Don't ask me why, it just is.

Hmm... I don't know. I foresee myself having dry mac 'n cheese if I try that.
I like cheese spaetzle better than mac 'n cheese, though (more variety, too). ![]() |

My kid won't even it it. Also, I'm with Tama. Velveeta is awesome. |

Ick, I cannot stand Velveeta. My parents use that shit for macaroni & cheese (and almost everything else). Real cheese for me, please.
In mac & cheese, I personally use a mixture of sharp cheddar, Monterey jack, and grated parmesan (along with a bit of red pepper, but that's not cheese). |

I'm so glad that I'm not lactose intolerant. :) I mix in Velveeta with real cheese, but not so much that all you taste is Velveeta.

Velveeta used to be good, but then they replaced the light with the 2% milk kind, which tastes gross, and the original is bad too. I always hated Kraft, but I recently had it and it was alright. I was a bit drunk, though, and the last time I had regular Velveeta drunk I liked it too, though I don't sober.

You know it's not real, and probably grade D product, but that ish will do for the moment. Cheap-out guilt I guess idk.For some reason, I thought this was really funny. wat

Alright this may seem disgusting. But seriously... it's not even funny how good this is. I'll admit that I like McDonald's fries, very unique taste... a few nights ago, I got courageous and decided to make my own style of macaroni n' cheese. Keep in mind I only like velveeta cheese (anyone who's had this cheese knows how thick and creamy it is). I tore a medium's worth of fries into half pieces and threw them into the pot after I poured the cheese into it... and I must admit, it was off the gancho!
