So I'm building my site on there, and I have a custom layout.
Is it possible if you can get cutenews on there or not.
If so can someone tell me how?

you could try using a javascript-based cms, like geeko or hippo.

Forgive my belated reply. Thanks for the links. :)

It's funny though because I use no script (FF add-on) and I'm wondering how many people use it or its equivalent.

Also, is it smart to use a Javascript-based CMS? CMS is so important OTOH beggars can't be choosers.

I think that freewebs actually has it's own blogging system that you can use. You can update it right on your account, and embed it onto your page; it will show all of your new posts for you (:

hmm. are you sure cutenews doesn't function well with webs.com?
i remember having a freewebs sites and i did find a way to use cutenews
till i realized cutenews wasn't for me and destoryed it all. but you can find
another site that can save your site, like ripeway that loads your plugboards php material and you can use a iframe to link it to your freewebs site. it works well since i tried that also but ripeway doesn't have a lot of mb for you, the best thing to do is save up money to buy your own domain/hosting plans so you can do whatever you want concerning PHP happy.gif
