chacha.com

go to the bottom and click become a guide

it's not A LOT, but if you're on the internet half as much as half of you are, what else could you be doing?

HAHA that sucks.

So, you gotta answer questions at a rate of 2.78 per minute to make $4 an hour.

About 167 questions an hour.

That was kind of hard...

One of my Q's was "can you send me a pic of the olsen girls in a bikini?" Or "Who lives at 25950 Radclift Pl, Oak Park, MI 48237?"

I didn't know what to do with those.

^pretty much and depending on your level of position, you either answer the question or rephrase it so that someone can answer it...because you know how people use shorthand or acronyms for certain words so you may have to spell it out

i've gotten some pretty funny questions...

"why does poop get stuck to a cats butt?"
"does butt sex hurt?" i found some replies already and used "if it hurts, you're doing it wrong!"
and then i just got
"can you get pregnant from but sex?"

agreed. i was looking through the forum and asked how to switch roles to which someone girl said that a lot of the specialists switch back to expeditors. wtf why? making .10-.22 cents a question is way better than .03. i've only made $7. :(

but mine def don't take 2 mins. i click click go.

i did this at one point in time...way back. they send all your answers through "quality control," and if you don't meet their guidelines, they don't pay you. i did it for about a week, made $200, never got the money. emailed them to ask why, and they told me it's because i didn't have the minimum payout (which is $100, i believe).

i was surprised by the amount of non generalists here ;o i became a generalist last week when you guys first posted here.

what's amazing is questions that fall under "Math" pays the most (20 cents). i've been editing my categories so i get math, and all the sciences, which pay 18 cents.

i'm guessing this means they've changed since i last did it. it used to be all generalist questions were 10 cents each, and if you answered 200+ questions a week with above 95% accuracy (i think), then all of your answered would jump to 20 cents.

and that "pay me now" option is crap. it costs $2 every time they fill your debit card, which i can't use anyway. that's 20 questions, my friend.

yah, they stated they're ending "top guides", so the category pay is replacing it.

also, i don't understand why they refused to pay you for that month if the minimum is $100, and you made $200

i durno. i think i understand why people move from generalist to expeditors. the frequency of questions that come is pretty slow. today i was on for 3 hours, and only made $3. perhaps the speed that comes along with being expeditor is better.

uh, i got a qc the other day because i answered someone's question about what time it was. i was told on the forums that generalists/specialists can only answer time questions because it needs a source. idk how.

I hate that you have to source everything, cause I just got a question: is it safe to hook up a guitar amp to speaker through a headphone jack. I was thinking to myself, no.. but I wouldn't know where to find the source for that info.

So you finally heard back from them? Cool. Good Luck!

Actually, that is safe. Impossible to do without adapters, but it's not going to hurt anything.

Didn't you sign elba up as well? You're welcome. :) I've maide 16.64 You should have 1.66 if I'm not mistaken, it's 10% of what I make. Hey, get more of your friends answering you could sit back and watch a hundred come in each day, (if you get 100 people to join with your team) :D
Anything with an adapter poses some, little, though some risk of electric shock.
the dumb bitch didn't use my email.

and i've made 1.66 off of you today, but 2.92 all together.
