MySpace is okay if you stick to people who don't ask for picture comments, can type coherently, and have well-designed layouts. I prefer Facebook, though, even with all of its stupid layout changes. I had actually gotten used to the old one, but this one just makes no sense. There's nothing interesting to read in my news feed anymore.

My layout has just changed.
Yeah it's pretty ugly and confusing right now, but people (myself included) said exactly the same thing about the last layout change and they ended up getting used to it. Give it a month or two... we'll all be FB stalking again. |

Okay just had a closer look. It hasn't changed tooooo much. It's just that they blew a lot of stuff up and rounded a bunch of edges... which isn't such a great thing. The changes do nothing.

I don't understand why people are complaining. You're right, they haven't changed much. Is that a bad thing? Everything is there, it's just cleaner, easier to use, and better looking. I swear, I don't understand why people freak about this kind of shit. It's like "OMG I CAN'T FIND MYZ NETWROKKZZ BUTTONS N FRIENDZZ! FREAK OUT!" instead of taking about a minute to adapt and learn whats new.
I think it's a great improvement. Simple, organized, looks good, easy to use, and to the point. They've been warning about it and offered a tutorial WEEKS ago. Am I the only one who caught that? I really don't understand why confusion exists in this case. And it's NOTHING like twitter. Just because they rounded the edges of pictures, everyone's all like OMG ITS TWITTERZ! No, nothing like it. Okay after way more investigation, yeah I'm pretty okay with the changes (because, like you and I have already said, there aren't too many).
I just really really hate how they raped the rounded-edges look. |

I thought it was uglier then just like I do now, but I decided to wait until they actually put everything up before giving my judgment because I wanted to know what it'd be like to go through. |

I love Facebook. I didn't even use it that much the first couple of years (I've been a registered user since 2004) but then it became an addiction during my junior and senior years of college. I don't use it much now since I don't have a life

Facebook's new look sucks.
They have a more rounded look which I hate. Beofre it was more sqaures. It looks more cluttered and they actually took out some organization. Either way...facebook is getting worse. I think I might try a twitter. And for the record Myspace is DEAD! |

Well, to be fair, the majority of my Facebook interactions are done via cell phone, via Twitter (if that makes sense). When I post comments, it's usually via cell phone texts as well, so of course the changes aren't monumental to me.

^Well, that certainly is a nice feature (updating status via Twitter) BUT, I also love the continuous streaming of TwitterFox. I wish more friends of mine used Twitter. I'd love a massive TwitterFoxing during a Lost episode, for example.

I tend to livetweet Gossip Girl, if it ever comes back on haha. Though it annoys the hell out of my friends because another friend does it too, so I won't do it if we're watching together for the sake of everyone's sanity.
I'm really confused by the profiles. I don't particularly like the livefeed on the homepage, but at least it makes sense. On the profiles, however, things are no longer in chronological order and I don't really get it. |
