I love sudoku when playing on my DS. On paper, I hate it and prefer crossword puzzles. Supposedly doing these types of activities helps with mental agility (and prevention of brain related disease, Alzheimer's, things of that sort).

Personally, I find them soothing.

It's a part of Brain Age. I either don't save or use the random play sudoku puzzles.

I've also been told that there's homebrew sudoku games for DS out there, it's just a matter of finding them (and of course, I still need to get a CycloDS).

I like both sudoku and crossword puzzles but I'm better at crossword puzzles. The first time I've ever played sudoku was actually on the DS with Brain Age, lol.

I tried on paper (in a book) first, but the first time I actually enjoyed sudoku was when playing Brain Age. :)

^Yeah, I tried on paper but it just doesn't seem as fun as playing it on Brain Age. :p In fact, my first crossword puzzle was online, haha.

i really hate the thought of doing a crossword puzzle on any electronic device. doing it on paper without batteries and screens and all that is half the thing that makes it nice.

^I agree. I eventually just started to a lot of crosswords on paper and it was actually much nicer than online especially when there's not a lot of stuff going on.

lol, my friend always does these huge letter sudokus where they use "a-z" (minus one letter) instead of numbers.

i used to do the crosswords in the newspaper each sunday when i used to work at the hospital. :D

I like doing crosswords but like Diana, I don't end up finishing them. I love playing Sudoku on my iPod though. I was so addicted when I got the game. I also like word searches.

Yeah recently my friend has been doing crosswords during lunch and I help her with them. It's fun. I prefer crosswords over Sudoku, anyway.

I think the one I prefer the most would have to be between crosswords and word searches but idk,.._smile.gif
