When you look at a TV commercial or a movie with special effects.. or maybe an advertisement in a magazine.. or maybe just a really cool video on YouTube, do you ever think and analyze how the creator would make that on Photoshop or Maya (for movies) or Adobe After Effects (for videos)? Or just think about how the process is even made or done? How long it may have taken, what programs they could've used, how they shot it, etc.

Idk, I saw this REALLY cool video. Well, it was cool to me because when I saw it, I broke down the process of how it's done (in my head of course): frame by frame shots using a camera.

However, my friend just shrugged and said, "so what?" to the video and I felt a teeny bit offended because it'd take a lot of hard work and dedication to do something like that. Anything frame by frame, to me, takes a ton of dedication and time to do so I thought she'd least appreciate that.

Anyway, what about you? :O

Haha, it's so sad how I do this to almost everything I see! T_T I kind of do it without thinking and I do it if I see something that seems 'artsy' or creative.
.. But wait, does this mean I'm artistic? ;D hahahaha.

Ahaha, I think it means you like to analyze a lot of visual commercials or representations. I always think about how they make the opening of ANTM, and I'm always curious to how the editors make the picture fit perfectly into the song.

Ever since I became semi-serious about art and design, I've been doing that all the time. Some sort of artistic input is put into just about everything, so I find myself analyzing everything from the loading screens of Guitar Hero and Rock Band to my text books when I'm really bored in school.

i have to write things down. i analyze so much, then there's too much shit jumbling around in my head. writing them down erases them...which leads to empty space for more analyzing. it's a continuous process of which i will forever be tortured with. crazy.gif
