i like the colors and the simplicity of the layout. it's easy to find stuff and nice. i like that your port images show up right there without having to go to click through various pages to view them.


the quote "i will be great with god by my side" seems kinda random and unprofessional there to me. i don't really like how your paragraph about you is in third person. just because i find it awkward when people write in third person about themselves on their own personal sites. those are just my own personal preferences though.


over all i like it a lot.

i was thinking about my choice to write about myself in 3rd person, i might change that. the quote is just a personal touch that i thought would set the tone for my aspirations as a designer.

i think the quote is nice, however, i'm not sure if i like how it's put into your design. it's the first thing anybody sees, and this is your portfolio, so it might work better if it's not just a quote smack in the center, but if you somehow incorporated the quote into a larger design. it's your intro and, personally, i think it'd be nice if it made more of an impression.

overall, i like the simplicity and the freshness of the colors.

I think it looks pretty good but it just seems too plain for me. Also, I agree on the quote thing and all. I like the portfolio and all but again, it's just too plain and basic for me. I think you could do more with it like you did with your other website. Otherwise, you did an ok job.

I like it all, but I agree about the whole third person thing.

The quote is nice, but maybe some people will take offense or aren't Christian or believe in God and so it'll be a turn off. The font looks out of place though, everything looks sleek except the font for the quote.

Not an image map! Just change it from
<img src="image_url">

to

<a href="link"><img border="0" src="image_url"></a>

I love the color & simplicity of it. But I have to agree with the quote, the font you used for it, & the 3rd person about me. Other than that, it's great. Congrats on finally getting it up.

I like the main site, the simplicity is refreshing. The blog layout is even better.

I echo the sentiments of manny-the-dino except with regard to the quote. It's not as though you're proselytizing. Believers and non-believers should respect the fact that God is important to many people. I say this as an agnostic. It does come off as a tad boastful but to each his own.

My only suggestion is to clean up the about me portion of the main site because the grammar ought to be perfect. It looks more professional if you have no errors. Blogging is another matter.

There isn't any reason for it to scroll, so I'd suggest fixing the heights that you have created so the site doesn't scroll unless it really needs to be..like if you put on more text.

Very clean and simple, not bad. I like your logo I guess you could call it, is it a premade text or did you actually make it?

yes there is a reason for the page to scroll.

i drew it out, and used text i already had downloaded and edited it to my liking.
