I personally don't think it's stupid, because you don't know how that person feels.. the cutting might actually be the only comfort in their life.

some people do it cuz it's like an escape from some pain they're going through... it's really sad, cuz they're all depressed and need help and they might feel like no one can help them, etc... i had a friend who cut, it was scary... she was sad all the time, and i had to help her stop...

I cut my self once... it was cause i got really mad at my mom and she was like "youre just a stupid lil beiotch"....(It was back hen i never did what she said) And so i went into my room and cut myself... No, I don't cut. But my cat scratches me so much that it appears that I do. My parents know that I don't and that Tuffy does it to me, but sometimes I hide them because I don't want people assuming that I do that sorta stuff...

haha, u need to make the poll more descriptive dummy. i was lyk, "cut wat? my hair? my legz when i shave?" and it took me a while to notice to cut my wristz, (yes, i'm slow) and i used to cut. i was really depressed and stuff... but now i'm over it. and i'm stronger. i learned how to fight the depression...

to me, cutting is like coke *lol*. It keeps on bubbling up when it gets messed with and the only way to release it is opening the can then stop and wait till get gets messed with again and starts to bubble up more and opening the can again and again..hopefully i make sense.

To me, my cutting.. bleh..after, things only got worse so it wasnt really worth it...

and besides...I still have scars tht is still...visable so i have to hide it alot..which sux but its going away so i rarely wear my wristband now XD

yeah. i cut sometimes. idk...when your really depressed sometimes you rather have the physical pain then the emotional. and by cutting you start to focus on the pain on your wrists rather then the pain in your heart. physical pain can stop hurting after a while. emotional pain can never go away sometimes.

this is a tough subject for me, i am using this to help me cope, it sucks really bad but i'm slowly getting better. but let me tell you, if your gonna make that first cut, think twice, cause once yuo make one you just wanna do more and more and it becomes almost like an addiction. and it may seem like its helping but all it really does is just leave a ugly scar on your body, i have way too many to count and i regret all of them, but i like to have these scars when i'm older just so i can emember where I'm coming from and what i've been through and whereever i am i can look at my wrist and just be happy with what i have now and be greatful. and if you need help please don't be scared to message me id be more hten happy to help you wit this.
