Are you trying to just DJ or produce as well?

Fruity Loops has evolved into an entire studio all i one program. Overall, it's not too difficult to figure out, however, to really grasp how to make beats like 9th Wonder. You don't need any hardware, just your computer. But, it does help if you have a KORG or an MPC, you can do tons more.

For DJing, Pioneer ProDJ is the shit. I used it when I had digital turntables. I scratch old school; no comp. Strictly vinyl.

as far as digital DJing, are you looking for those kind of programs that let you use digital vinyl on a turntable (like Rane Serato), or the kind that are straight up on the laptop, no turntable needed (like Mixvibes).

I use Sonar 7 producer edition. It's a bit on the expensive side (close to $500, but I got it cracked), but it's an extremely good program.

When I was trying to DJ my own parties, I tried out (amongst other things) Tracktor and Disco XT.

tru tru any idea where i can get FL studios cracked?

I mean i'll try that out but other than that I wanna try out different programs to see which one i like best. everyone recommends FL studios though so i'll def. check thatout as well and i heard bout sound forge as well.

i jus don't know which ones are decent and which ones aren't nah mean?
I'm mainly tryna DJ my own events down here in FL
also i'm tryna produce more music cause I mean I'm used to just playing the piano and then using a keyboard and recording it and using different sounds to make what i need nah mean?

You can always get FL Studio cracked somewhere online. wink.gif

The trial of FL studio is almost full, you can't save, but you can export, which is the same thing as saving basically. Me and my friend use it.

But I think i am going to check out some of the programs listed up on here.

We're not allowed to tell you that.
4chan has a rapidshares board.
