I wouldn't drop $40Gs on a damn Hyundai, no matter how much it may resemble a Lexus.
Hyundai Genesis. Um. Lexus LS 600. Yum. |

Looks exactly the same, though the genesis comes to more of a narrow front end The Hyundai Genesis is half the price of the Lexus LS. It's not a bad looking vehicle. Hyundai does not have a reputation for making a reliable vehicle. You're not going to see a Tiburon on the road and be like, "damn, that's a classic sports car right there." Additionally, the Genesis is merely a rip off of other cars in it's class. If you want Luxury for cheap, you're better off getting an Acura TL or Chrysler 300C. |

well I've actually tried both, they are both nice. Hyundai and Toyota (lexus) are basically the same when it comes to the specs, the only thing that is arguable would be prices, and design. As far as the design in the car, I find it to be as good as lexus. Also the hyundai dealership has a no obligation policy, where if you buy a genesis and you loose your job, then all you need to do is return the car and your monthly payments stop. The Hyundai Genesis is $35 thousand, which is not bad considering free XM radio, and all the tech specs of a lexus with a no obligation policy, compared to Lexus which is 2 times the price. Hyundai is trying to step out of the reputation for being "crappy", which is why Genesis is their leading car for the luxury revolution hyundai is trying to go for, the Genesis also comes in a coope which I thought is nice, trust me in the future, your going to see lots of hyundai cars that are luxurious. Also they are both Asian manufacturers so you cant really argue about the performance of the car
soon to be released hyundai genesis coupe (2010) bottom line if your looking to buy a car for it's brand to brag, buy the lexus, if you buying for car for usability and reliability hyundai wins hands down |

That Genesis Coupe is pretty sexy.
Either way, I would rather have a Maybach. |
