Have you heard of this movie Coraline?
Coraline.com

It looks pretty decent.. I liked the Nightmare Before Christmas And James And The Giant Peach. And a forest of Cherry Blossoms made of painted popcorn sounds pretty awesome. What do you think?

It looks like a Tim Burton thing. Kind of creepy.

I read the book as a kid. Doubt i'll actually go and see this though.

So coming out in Feburary 09', does anyone know where to find a Coraline DIV layout or someone that will make one? This movie looks to be another cult film as The Nightmare Before Christmas did also. Henry Selick is a great director.

It's nice to see this movie out of production after spending over 2 years on it. So watch the trailers! Also Coraline.com is availible. Its pretty sweet.
What do you think about the movie or your thoughts on it?

P.S. - The attachment is something you can do with your pictures in the "Other Mothers Workshop".

I keep saying Caroline and I have to keep correcting myself. It looks interesting, hopefully it will be one of the better Tim Burton films.

Well now that I found out it's going to be presented in "real-D" I'm definitely going to check it out for the technical aspect. I'm hoping "real-D" is something where the depth is actually used for realistic purposes and not just for cheap tricks that pop out at you. 'Cause, that's be awesome to watch movies like that.

i saw My Bloody Valentine in real-D and it's used for A LOT more than just things to scare you/pop out/jaddajaddajadda.. the entire movie had depth to it and it really made it more enjoyable.

The previews make it look so dumb.... most things Tim Burton makes are horrible.

prime example: The Nightmare Before Christmas sick.gif

edit: and who can forget the horrid Sweeney Todd sick.gif

Ya. I couldn't stand Sweeney..... I hoped I would like The Nightmare Before Christmas, but honestly I think I would have liked it more if I was younger.. I thought it was stupid :/ sorry. It seemed really boring and had like no action.

Hahaha I loved the book when I was younger. 5 years ago I think was when I read it ?! Hahahah.
and when I wikipedia'd it I saw that they were having a film of it coming out in 2009. That was like 239480234 years ago so 2009 seemed like decades.
when I saw the trailer in theatres I was like :O HOLY SHAAAAT I remember this!

Mustseemustseemustsee. Hahah.

I will probably watch it sooner or later, but not in theaters or anything. It seems interesting. I heard Tim Burton was making an Alice in Wonderland remake, and Johnny Depp was going to play the mad hatter or something?
