Balance. The left side is just a bit too heavy, which I would attribute to the "darkness" of it, as the person above me said. Also, the words in black are terribly hard to read.

I agree with Shannon & Kristina. Also the green is a bit random & the heart... I dk there's just something about it that's a bit off. And your watermark could be more discrete (<--- that applies more to if you were to submit it). But I like the coloring! :)

is there anyway to make the left side more lighter? should i play around with the fill or the opacity? i used this tutorial http://www.createblog.com/tutorials/tutorial.php?id=13828 to make it like that.
and what else color should i use for my font? bleh the font and the color i always have the trouble with ):< btw the green came with the picture x] edit: this is what i got. i had too change the spell of name and i tryed to make the picture lighter (epic fail? help here)

Ahh I love that tutorial. I use it a lot. Anyways, I don't really see how the left side becomes darker when you use that tutorial; it's weird. What if you use a different picture? *shrug. As for the edit, I... don't see a difference, really.

i also think that. i have a simalure picture to this one. i think it was taken from the side or something. i'll post it up after im done. should i also use that tutorial for it

I think your first picture looks better; this one looks low in quality. But I should stop "critiquing" it because you didn't really ask for a critique lol. So I say the first one. :)

make the overall image brighter and blur the background, so that your text show up more clearly and that heart looks awkward but it is a good step :]
