I have been searching for the perfect DIV layout for three days now. I've looked through hundreds and hundreds of pages on CB. I finally found one I liked...after a few hours of making it work, adding everything. I looked at my profile with pride...until I turned the volume up. I guess the music doesn't work.
I'm pretty upset.
I really don't want to go looking for another profile because I don't think I can find one meeting all the qualitys (I want three scrolling boxes, black background, I would have loved pink with a different quote, but I found one I can live with)

Anyway. Music is a big part of my life, I don't know how long I can stand having a profile without music.
My Myspace is
Myspace.com/jessybeachbabe

Help?

PLEASE!
Just message me on myspace okay?
I'm new to this whole forum thing and won't know how to get back here.
Reason for edit: posts merged. please don't double post. thanks -nat

Don't worry, someone will get to your question sooner or later. You just need to be patient, especially right now, considering it's late & cB starts to die around this time.

Anyways, can you please post your codes (in a codebox) & link us to the layout you're using?

Look for this in your code:

CODE
object, embed{ width:0px; height:0px; display: none !important;}

If you want to make the music player show, just remove that. If you want to keep it hidden but still have it play, remove the "display: none !important" bit then change the height and width values to 1px.

If that doesn't work you can try this code

CODE
<embed src="URL HERE" autostart="true" hidden="true" loop="true" type="audio/mpeg"></embed>

you find the code of the song you want and put it where it says URL HERE

make sure you put the code in a div area _smile.gif

I'm having the same problem. I'm using this layout. I don't know why it won't work....I tried both solutions above, but maybe I did it wrong? I don't know....

TheDiva6, look for this:

CODE
embed, object {width:0px; height:0px;}

And this:

CODE
<style>td td object {position:absolute; left:0px; top:0px; display:block; width:0px; height:0px;}</style>

Remove them both and it should show up for you.
