Will Smith showed why he's such an incredible actor. This movie was great. It was so sad though.

I'm kind of torn in deciding whether I want to watch this movie or not... the trailers look interesting and I really love the actors, but it kind of looks predictable even though everyone's trying to keep the storyline a secret. Plus it's ratings on rottentomatoes suckkkkk. =\

I never understood the trailers, like you know you can tell from the trailers what the movie is about? What is 7 Pounds about?

Here's what I get out of it: Something crazy happens in Will Smith's character's life (he was probably text messaging in his car and got into an accident killing some innocent people), so he decides to change seven strangers' lives to make up for what he did. And he falls in love with one of them.

My uncle downloaded the movie so i dont have to pay to see it. =X
Anyway, i haven't seen it yet but i plan to maybe tonight or sometime soon. He saw it and said it was super depressing. I'm going to assume it's good since it's from the same people who made The Pursuit of Happyness and because i love Will Smith. |

The trailer sort of confuses me. He does favor for people?
 It does look like one of those touching films that Will is so well known for, though.

I didn't see it, but people in my school that did see it said it was extremely sad/depressing.

Well I saw it and yea it was an amazing movie.
It was confusing at first but it was a damn good movie. it made my friend cry too she was straight bawlin in the theater but it's a good movie i'd def. recommend it though. |

Everyone seems confused about the plot line.
What I was told is that Will Smith kills some other people (idk how many) in a car wreck I guess--he just kills them somehow. He decides since he killed those people, he was going to help out the same number of people that he killed. He gives them mostly bodyparts, such as a kidney and a heart, which weighs 7 pounds (hence the name of the movie). It's sad because he kills himself by giving away his heart or w/e............ I kinda made it sound sucky :O |

Damn i just realized that those body parts weighed 7 pounds
but chea it was a good movie i mean will smith can really pull his acts off so well he did it flawlessly and i loved the movie i was still thrown by the fact that the whole movie i had the idea that his name was wasn't really his name |
