Katy Perry, i dont know. Options

Katy Perry. Really simple. I don't think I like it so what should I add to this to improve?

hmm im not a complete fan of it
I dont like the sunburst background, especially becuase it doesnt match. The font is alright. The colours coming from behind her are pretty cool though

First of all, I'd try to stay away from the starburst, sunburst, whatever things in the background. They're overused. I think the fonts you picked are okay, but the image could use a little brightening. She looks a little too dark right now.

I see what you were trying to do but it didn't work, tbh. The image quality is pretty good so you got lucky there. I also agree with Gabi in that you should lighten the picture. Yeah starbursts/sunbursts are becoming overused. But if you can pull it off, go for it. Also your cobbing is pretty choppy around her arm; you erased too much. The fonts you used are alright but putting them together wasn't such a good idea because they sort of clash. Honestly, I would just start over & use her PSD in a different way.

For the left arm, its really wierd because it has this reflection from the sun on the original picture so that confused me a little while I was erasing BUT I got so excited when I found a tut for the starbursts that I was like I have to use it xD So that was the outcome of that. But I will most likely start over with the same image.

Hmm when that happens (the sun thing), use the lasso tool, or whatever tool you're comfortable with using, to select that section & mess with the layers so it matches with the rest of her skin. Or you could have probably just moved her over to the left so that that part of her arm wasn't showing.
