This is my very first Div Layout that I have ever written. It isn't on this site yet, because it still needs to be approved. But here is a screen shot and a link to a live preview.

This is fabulous for your first DIV Layout!
The one thing that really irks me is how bold the black border around your comments are. I suggest thinning them a little and making them the same color as the border in your image. |

Thank you for telling me that. I use firefox and haven't tested it in IE or anything else yet, and I couldn't see the black border. Yeah, I wouldnt like that either... :/ Thanks for replying!

Thank you :D Im working on getting rid of the border. I forgot where I even added that since I thought it didn't do anything in the first place.
QUOTE table table table { background-image:url(''); background-color:FFFFFF; border:0px solid black; } In that section i added a 0px border but because its black, it still shows up, even though it is 0px. Why is that? I changed it to white though, it should look better. I see no black border in IE |

^I don't see a border either.
It's definately very good for a first div. The only thing I would suggest would be adding a border to the sides of the white area. It would help separate it from the background. |

Okay, this is definitely pretty decent. Pretty nice setup and colors. You might want to save your images as PNGs because the overlay image looks a bit low quality, but other than than, not bad at all.

All the images I made myself are .png format. The one that says Happy Holidays and the Message, Add, Block Img map I made myself. If those are low quality, how do I save them so its high quality? The background snowflakes, I didn't make, I was just using it from Google search for a quick background. This is a screen shot of exactly the effect I had on the letters: http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg129/f...ntitled-1-3.png its not blurry, I meant to make it that way, if that is what you meant. |

^ Well, the strokes on the words are fuzzy. I would consider taking that effect that you used on them. It makes my eyes strain a little.

oh alright, I see what you mean. I did mean to make it that way though, it's not the quality. Maybe I can re-due the background. And I will post it to see what you think.
Alright, this is the current BG: http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg129/f...ckground2-1.png Does anyone like this one better?: http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg129/f...Background2.png |
