This is crazy _unsure.gif

QUOTE
Two people were shot to death in a crowded toy store on Black Friday in a confrontation apparently involving rival groups, city officials said.

"I think the obvious question everyone has is who takes loaded weapons into a Toys "R" Us?" he said. "I doubt it was the casual holiday shopper."

QUOTE
A Wal-Mart worker was killed Friday after an "out of control" throng of shoppers eager for post-Thanksgiving bargains broke down the doors at a suburban store and knocked him to the ground, police said.

i was lucky to get the rotating one.. lol (:

I don't understand how someone would get TRAMPLED to death.. I mean, wouldn't people realize that someone was on the ground in front of them?!!! And after you "accidentally" step on them, wouldn't you help them up or say sorry or just DO SOMETHING?!!!

this article pissed me off so much

I guess some people have really devalued life so much that a TV seems to be worthy to make a riot.

Every year someone dies at a walmart..Its sad and what irritates me is how walmart seems to never step up and change things.

Man, you would think that even though a lot of deals are being offered online for Black Friday, it would alleviate some of the BS that happens, but it doesn't.

^ He was 34, I think. So he wasn't exactly an old man.

His family will probably get some money from Walmart. Some articles are saying that they might prosecute for his death, but with all the people there... good luck finding the people who actually caused him to die.

I was reading an article that was saying how the customers all refused to leave the store after the guy was trampled to death. People were saying how they had been waiting in line for 24 hours and they weren't going to leave. Its awful how human life is so worthless to some people.
Article
QUOTE
Kimberly Cribbs, who witnessed the stampede, said shoppers were acting like "savages."
"When they were saying they had to leave, that an employee got killed, people were yelling `I've been on line since yesterday morning,'" she said. "They kept shopping."

That is absolutely crazy.
Yeah, sure, everyone loves discounts.
But I cannot understand how people can simply dismiss the fact that a guy DIED from being trampled on and continue shopping.
It doesn't make any sense.

I think every shopper who remained in that store deserves punishment. The way I see it the way he died was degrading and cruel and with the ammount of people there they all technically somehow contributed to his death.

Doesn't walmart have security cameras? huh.gif

Shit, if traffic lights are photo-enforced and can catch drivers who run red lights at high speeds (up to 200 mph) AND get their license plate number and mug shot, I would sure hope Walmart would have something similar that can clearly see the faces of those who trampled over the employee...
