in my case, I put a tag on my layout and on the jocked screenshot it has my name and url in the top right corner, obviously it's mine.

You can actually easily prove that something is yours if they either have a copyright mark on or not.

If I have, on my computer, a file with every layer used to make the layout and they do not have said file proves that I indeed made the layout.

Plus, the moderators judge the layouts/graphics/codes while it's being queued. They aren't going to let some piece of 2 minute layout be finished and submitted.

worth adding it anyway. some cover it up others don't. If you don't add it at all then anyone can claim the layout as their own. Like what a member did here to unwatermarked layouts. He stole them and reposted them here claiming them to be his own. When caught he still claim them to be his own when they were on several other sites belonging to the original owners.

I was just going to say that people need to knock off some of the bashing in here. The thing with Twinblade is just going to go in circles, and s/he isn't the focus of this topic. And, just so you know, Twinblade, if you ever see anything here that is stolen you can PM an Admin/Head Staff/Design Staff and let them know.
