He didn't vote. After all his ranting, he didn't vote. He said so on The View. I'm disappointed.

well that's idiotic. if i was him and i didn't vote...i'd at least keep that to myself laugh.gif

no really though that's stupid. you can't spend months bashing mccain and then not even vote. i love watching him, but i know it's really not all that different than if i were watching fox news. i watch him for entertainment value.

speaking of, i was going to make a topic on this, maybe i still will...

but what are people like olberman going to do now? i mean lots of people's whole routine is playing offense against the republican administration. it'll be interesting to see the flip they have to make now to move over to playing defense for the democrats. it's a hell of a lot easier to criticize bad decisions than it is to attempt to defend them.

p.s. did he give a reason for not voting? not that i think it's possible to him to really justify that anyway.

He said personal protest or something like that. I don't know. I was too busy being agog over him not voting.

And pundits are going to keep their eyes out on the latest running scandal (insert, "Uhhh...Bussshhheeedddd" here) and hopefully continue to keep the government accountable. The HuffPo recently wrote an article on the subject: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/11/10/c...r_n_142612.html

It's sad how that appearance was the most I've ever seen him challenged in an unscripted exchange. Fox at least has opposing viewpoints.

His impersonations are hilarious, though.

Apparently he doesn't vote because of journalistic objectivity.

I know, right? It's like ma'f*cka please. You can't be as critical of the gov't as Keith and not be the slightest bit subjective.

keith olbermann is funny. so is chris matthews when hes arguing with the bald big nosed mccain campaign "strategist" or whatever theyre called.

fox news has the wierdest looking people. brit hume the guy looks dead. greta van susteren does this wierd thing with her lip. alan colmes looks like a squirrel. I think they hired colmes so sean hannity will look better in comparison. geraldo riviera has this rediculous mustache. and so on

It's impossible for anyone to make Hannity look good.

As for Keith Olbermann, he is criminally annoying. Everything he talks about, he presents it as if he's about to lead the final charge in the last battle for the Earth against alien invaders.

I was taken aback by that as well.

Such a cop out. Objectivity my behind. I'm thinking the real reason he doesn't vote is because should a certain candadite fall out of favor he can at least say, "Well folks, I sure as hell didn't vote him!" and be on his merry way.

Keith has kind of been falling out of favor with me lately. I'm more into Rachel Maddow now.

I like Rachel, too. I don't watch her show like that though, just little snippets here and there. Since I deleted some other podcasts, I should start subscribing to her.
