I have been playing around with acouple of diffrent outfits, but really just wanted to see what you guys think of these ideas? Is there one that looks better then the others?? I have not really thought much about accessories for any of the outfits..so what do you guys think? I am just looking for some outside opinions.
Thanks for the opinions/help. http://www.flickr.com/photos/31739777@N03/3006419888/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/31739777@N03/...in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/31739777@N03/3006898718/ |

The first one is the best, but all of those outfits are pretty bland, and not just because you're not wearing accessories. Brown boots are neutral, and yours even more so because they're so dark they almost look black; you can wear anything with them. Get colorful with your clothing. Also, I'd be careful with the wearing them with a skirt because the boots are so high, when you wear them with a longer skirt, your legs look short, IMO.

I agree with the skirt thing
but i love the boots over the pants, like the first pic, it never dies, and you could mix and match em with a lot of different colored pants. i.e. black, gray, blue. etc etc. |

i like the last one, but you need brighter colors!
brown is a neutral so you could pair them with a electric blue shirt and black/gray jeans. or you could wear the brown boots, brown tights & a dress with a pattern on it. i also like the idea of boots with a pencil skirt & a button up blouse. |

I really like those boots.
Anyway I really don't think there are any rules when it comes to boots, wear them over pants, under pants, with a long skirt, a short skirt, leggings and a sweater dress...options are endless. Brown boots are a total basic so it doesn't matter what you wear them with, at least IMO. Like right now, I'm wearing brown boots with skinny jeans tucked in them, and a dark grey H&M sweater with weird darts in the front. Basic (boring?) but it works. If you're going to go for a more neutral palette, punch it up with something of more visual interest, like a colourful scarf (I'm also wearing a lime green scarf with white polka dots on it). |

I like the boots, I agree about the skirts, though. Wearing high boots like that with skirts of that length look a little awkward to me. You do need some more color, though. The boots are great, but they shouldn't be the focus of your outfit. You can wear them with almost anything.

I hate knee high boots with knee length skirts.
