What were those rules for when you multiply negatives and positives?
like a negative and negative is a..postive?

+ x - = -
- x + = -
- x - = +

that's like 6th grade level math, and you could just google something like "rules for multiplying negative numbers"...at least that would be a little bit more of your own work.

I'm thirteen. Well I was about to post never mind because I had already search and besides I wanted to know if like you had one negative number and one negative fraction. (-5 x -21/25)

I'm going to be blunt here, but are you retarded?

Neg*Neg = Pos
Neg*Pos = Neg
Pos*Neg = Neg
Pos*Pos = Pos

In other words, if you're multiplying the same sign together, you get positive. If they're opposite signs, then negative.

Here's how I remembered the rules when I learned it:
an even number of negatives make a positive --> being even(fair) is good(positive)
an odd number of negatives make a negative --> being odd(weird) is bad(negative)

I don't know if that helps... I have a strange way in thinking/remember things LOL
