so i just met this guy about 2 weeks ago on a school trip... we stayed at this place for 2 nights and on the last night i went over to my friends' room (guys) and he was there, (sneaked in from another room) so we talked and all and then we ended up sleeping on the same couch (right beside each other) he laid down on the couch and i put my pillow on his leg and slept beside him.
the next day we had lunch and i went out to the balcony with my friends, then he came and stood beside me and we ended up talking a little. well then after that, at school when he saw me in the halls he would smile and look at me. and i always see him do that first, so i just smiled back. one time i saw him at his locker and went over to talk to him, and i told him how i had a math test coming up and he told me that i should just take it step by step and i'll be fine. we both seemed kinda nervous since i guess we aren't that familiar with each other. anyway. when i stayed after school in the art room yesterday and today, and he's there because he's in a club or something, n im just there doing my work and all, i feel like he doesn't notice me. like he doesn't even acknowledge my presence. what's going on? i thought he would at least say hi, since he does say hi to me in the halls... sigh. guess hes just not that into me ? |

Maybe he's just smiling at you because it would be awkward not to. And maybe he's also not acknowledging your presence for the same reason...because it would be awkward.
Sounds to me like you're in some sort of friendship/relationship limbo where you know the person, maybe even have feelings for them, but they're not enough for you guys to just talk freely like regular friends. So it just creates lots of awkward situations. I find that relationships like those typically either go further or die out. They never really stay that way. So just wait it out... He probably doesn't not like you, just finds it weird to talk to you because he doesn't know you well. You guys probably got along fine together before because you were in a new environment (school trip), and inhibitions typically aren't as strong in a strange environment. Then you get back to school and everyone goes back to their original social circles. I'd like to quote Foo Fighters for this one... QUOTE "Sometimes I feel I'm getting stuck Between the handshake and the f**k." - Foo Fighters, My Poor Brain |

When i smiled at ppl in school, it was like saying hi.
If you're interested in him.. talk to him more and hang out in and out of school. Get his # or sn somehow.. |

I use to be a huge flirt and would smile a lot at girls. I think it depends on how long your smiling at them. It can go from a gesture of saying "hi" to "I want to put it in your butt" in a split second. I guess you gotta be the judge.

^ eh . why?
oh yeah... and he stopped smiling at me. he barely looks at me now >< dunno what happened. i just hardly saw him around for a few days and when i saw him again (not at the same places we usually see each other), he just stares straight and walks by. he doesn't even look.... i think he did once but i don't know because i wasn't looking and i just saw him turn his head from the corner of my eye (and there was no one else around so i assumed that...) so i dunno what to do to get him to greet me again? |
