I know you guys are all artistic, talented, and creative people. Why not focus all that positive energy into a revived community art project we're creating?

For anybody who isn't familiar with PostSecret, it is a creative art project founded by Frank Warren, in which people anonymously mail in their secrets on a home-made postcard.

We're starting a project based off of this idea called CREATESECRET. However, instead of submitting post-cards, you guys can submit your secret as digital art, in the form of banners, icons, anything that floats your boat.

Here is the thread that they'll be posted on (which is in the community center, for those of you who stay in the RC): http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php...p;#entry3068174

They'll also be archived at this website: http://createsecret.heartquasm.org

Here are the specs:

How it works:

1. Make your CreateSecret!
2. Go to: Submit a CreateSecret
3. Upload your secret anonymously (Maximum upload size: 1000kb) and click "submit." The last question is an anti-spam question, so please fill that out correctly.
4. That's it!
5. A moderator will check the e-mail account, upload the CreateSecret to another server, and post the secret in this thread.

Rules:

* Pictures may be of any reasonable size.
* Keep it anonymous. :]
* Keep it PG-13. Meaning no pictures you wouldn't want your parents seeing, and no extremely explicit words or descriptions are allowed.
* Do NOT use other members' photos as part of your secret.

Here are a few previous CreateSecret entries to get your creative juices flowing:

Hm, I thought we had this going before? But anyway, if people do start submitting, I'd be more than willing to submit as well. I actually stopped making CreateSecret images cause everyone else did. :[

Yeah, we did have this before, but not enough people participated. Hopefully, it'll be a bit different. Definitely start submitting! We've already got a few submissions (they're up at the website and on the CreateSecret thread in Relationships).

I think the way that Melissa has restarted this is a much better, more thought out process than before. So I'm hoping for the best. Plus, I just love her enthusiasm. :)

^ thanks :D

I added a rule that other members' photos may not be used as part of a secret.

Ahh, I have to do something like this for my English class since we're reading the Scarlet Letter. I should submit one of these while I'm at it.

this is amazing, i can use this an inspiration. It's sort of like 'To write love on her arms', but more practical.

After the submit button is clicked, there is a red box around the anti-spam question. Does that mean there's something wrong?
