i give up on homework today. i just can't do it, it's not possible. i'm past the caring stage. i'm supposed to fix a drawing. he (the professor) told me to blow up a picture to 22x30 so it would fit my drawing, then trace stuff out on tracing paper and then hold it up to my drawing and fix the proportions. what the f**k? i am not doing all that shit, i'm just going to say that i drew a scene full of midget people. how often you do you give up on school work and decide you don't really care enough to do it? |

So I gave up last night, and went to sleep. However, I woke up earlier than usual, got to school way early, and did it there with a clear mind. i do this a lot. it's a lot easier for me to do a lot of work if i'm stuck at school early with nothing else to do. on monday/wednesday/friday i usually get to my morning class 30 minutes early just becuase it's one of the only ways i can force myself to study. |

I would do my accounting homework to the best of my ability, get a B or so, and give up there. It's only 5% of my grade, not too much incentive. I used to read for my climatology class, but that would take hours and would get me a 100 instead of an 80 on my seemingly daily quiz, which again is only 5% of my semester average.

I gave up on hw last night. I had to revise an essay and do like 5 assignments worth of math hw (we don't need to turn in hw until the day of a test). So I gave up last night, and went to sleep. However, I woke up earlier than usual, got to school way early, and did it there with a clear mind. Most of the time I have to wait for the class before mine to get done, so I'll sit in the hall or the library (depending on the class I have to get to) and do my homework there. A lot of time my math homework problems get really repetitive, so I'll do enough of them for me understand and to get enough points and forget the rest. |

Hell, I just gave up on school today (I'm in college, I'll just resume some other time).
Since high school, at the start of each year I always say that I'll do my best, give it all I got, cliche, etc. but gradually that willpower decreased day by day. I'm just lazy I guess and now that I have a job, the whole job aspect plays in because part of me feels like I don't need school. I have had this job for a year and a half and it's my first job, I have already gotten raises upon raises and I'm one level before being in a management position (I'm a supervisor to my peers and someone who's daughter is just 2 years younger than me!). Plus, the assistant managers that I have worked with didn't even finish college so it's like, if they're making it work, why can't I? When I was more focused, I always did my homework in the morning or between classes since I'm always tired at the end of the day. |
