my bad if there was already a topic on this, i couldn't find it in the search. i'm pretty shocked if there isn't. where do i even begin? no need for summary, you can google yourself. he's a graf artist if you haven't figured it out.

"Some people become cops because they want the world a better place. Some people become vandals because they want the world a better looking place."

"Brandalism. Asking for permission is like asking to keep a rock someone just threw at your head. The time of getting fame for your own name on its own is over. Artwork that is only wanting to be famous will never make you famous. Fame is a by-product of doing something else. You don't go to a restaurant and order a meal because you want to have a shit.Brandalism. Asking for permission is like asking to keep a rock someone just threw at your head. latest news, he's in ny.

he's even got his own pet shop opened until October 31st so if you happen to be in NY.... it's opened everyday from 10am to midnight.
"New Yorkers don't care about art, they care about pets. So I'm exhibiting them instead. I wanted to make art that questioned our relationship with animals and the ethics and sustainability of factory farming, but it ended up as chicken nuggets singing. I took all the money I made exploiting an animal in my last show and used it to fund a new show about the exploitation of animals. If its art and you can see it from the street, I guess it could still be considered street art."

I love his stuff.
It's his unexpectedness that really grabs the audience, I think.

is it way better than you thought?

it's way better than i thought. i thought i was just buying a book with pictures of his work. which would still be good btw. but i didn't expect it to have all the text and insight that it does.
