So my birthday is coming up soon, and I really want to celebrate with my friends, but I'm not sure what to do.
I don't want a normal at-home birthday party because there's really nothing to do at my house.
I was thinking about taking some friends out to eat,but I don't enough money to pay for everyone.
And I was also thinking of getting a cake and just having a little picnic in a park,
but,I'm not sure. I want something fun but not overdone. ( haaha that rhymed )
and nothing too expensive.

Any ideas?

You don't have to pay for everyone do you?
I mean, I don't know if that's just the way that I do it but usually everyone gets separate tabs and pays for themselves. Besides, you're the birthday girl so you shouldn't have to pay for everyone else. but I don't know how you do it.

Well, I would choose the park because it's the cheapest, the simplest, and it may be more fun because you're outside with no boundaries, really. And you could like make it a little potluck where other people bring supplies like plates, chips, etc.

AND, if someone lives close enough to the park, you can even get pizza delivered and eat it at the park. We've done something like that before except we just used a random house across the street from the park. Don't do that because it was a disaster having to explain to the pizza guy that WE ordered the pizza. And he wasn't even going to give it to us. I forgot how we convinced him.

Anyway, sorry for the long reply in which half of it doesn't have to deal with your question. =)

You're a nice girl. lol, I just make them all pay for themselves if its not at my house. Anyway, I stand by my opinion to have it at the park with a little cake. It doesn't have to be a potluck, but you can still do the pizza thing and base that off of how many people respond to your invitation to come.
