Do certain songs remind you of a past event(s)?
When I listen to St. Vincent's 'We Put A Pearl In The Ground' it really reminds me of my childhood. I don't know exactly what in my childhood but something. I always picture a red car for some reason But there are a lot of songs that bring up memories. Especially Green Day's 'Time of Your Life'. |

 Eh, I know what you mean. Right now, I can't really put my finger on a song that reminds me of a past event. I know that some songs reflect my mood though, definitely. |

Atmosphere - Pour Me Another Both those songs hurt to listen to but after one listen, I tend to play the songs over and over again. |

[Jason Mraz - I'm Yours] it's such an amazingly cute song, but it reminds me of my ex since he played it on his ukulele (who the fcuk has one of those, right?!) & it was kinda our song. i'm sad he ruined such a good song for me. today i heard it on the radio and i was like "shit"
[Get Set Go - Wait] it reminds me of my friends & summer days & taking chances before it's too late. [Acceptance - So Contagious] a night filled with cake decorating, ihop, hilarious videos, bumper stickers, pictures & this girl that i miss mucho. [Kanye - Stronger] most awkward night ever at homecoming. |

It's great, yet sometimes really nostalgic and makes me sad, but memories are good, no? :)
My Boo by Usher / Alicia Keys; first slowdance. Oh that was embarrassing but fun. Here's to the Night by Eve 6; so many memories in this song.. it's so sad. Some Will Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape by Underoath; mm, my friend. :( I miss him so much. He and I would listen to their album for countless hours, and this song would be the only one we'd sing to together. Tokyo by Nell; reminds me of my ex for some weird reason. I loved that song when we were together so now everytime I hear the song, I think of him. I'm not even sure why because he thought I was stupid for liking the song lol. Cue the Sun! by Daphne Loves Derby; ex asked me to prom with this song because it was my fave at that time. :( Officially Missing You by Tamia; also reminds me of my ex. Godf**kingdammit. Lmao. |

I have much songs that remind me of things. Especcialy of the break up with my boyfriend, a few weeks ago.. Sometimes i was missing him, and sometimes i rememberd me how he was yelling at me and hitting me, so the songs are really differtent. xD
Avril Lavigne - My Happy Ending A song that reminds me of that break up. Paramore - My Hero A song that reminds me of that break up to. Three Days Grace - Gone Forever Again that break up xD Avril Lavigne - I'm With You This one reminds me of one of my best friends that's living on the other side of my country (The Netherlands) |
