Congress is considering whether to allow Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson to use federal funds to buy up to $700 billion in mortgage-related securities and other assets that have caused turbulence on Wall Street and have undermined credit markets worldwide. ^ Yeah. If the Congress approves the motion as is (which they're not going to do, since each party is against it for their own reasons), it'll show that they're even dumber than we think they are.

Did anyone watch this?
I didn't see all of it. Granted, Bush isn't all that exciting to watch. I felt as though he repeated himself a lot throughout the speech. |
