This is how I look like:

I want to change my hair color.
I was thinking like dark auburn, but with my Asian skin, it's kind of hard finding something that won't wash me out and make me look tacky.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

If you want to be natural, use a really dark brown as the base, and have some highlights.

If you plan on making it reddish, make sure it's pretty dark. Since your hair is really dark as it is, you should have no problem unless you get a little bleach happy.

If you want some red, I would suggest getting a few lowlights added to the hair color you have now. Otherwise, if you're set on dying all your hair, make sure that it's dark. And you should probably get it done professionally, because they will be able to change the tints and hues of the dye and make sure that you don't get any of that green tint that people with darker hair usually get.

I want to add some red, but I won't do Marcia Cross red.
That would look strange on an Asian girl, I know that much.

Definitely want to stay on the darker side because that's what works for me.

Don't kill your hair!

But whatever floats your boat...I say darker color or just get highlights. I got dark red highlights a few years back.
