I go to high school so the teachers that are there are pretty old and USUALLY know how to deal with teens but in this case they don't or at least this teacher doesn't.
Anyway, I eat lunch at noon central time and we finish up around 12:30 p.m. We walk back to our classrooms and wait for our teachers to open the door or at least give a classmate the key to unlock the door. I was at the end of the hall waiting for my teacher to come back like I do everyday. I was talking to 2 of my guy friends. One was outside the door and had is foot stopping the door from opening. I was trying to open the door just messing around like I always do. This is exactly what I said, "Gosh! Move your foot!" and then I started laughing. Either this teacher has always hated me or she is crazy. I DON'T SWEAR. The worst I say is "crap" or "dang" or "fugical" or "heck". If you call any of those swear words then yes I did swear but other than that I didn't. I'm 15 and most people my age do swear and yes I am around it but I'm more mature than that. Swear words are just stupid. Anyway, the teacher yelled at me for swearing. She said that she heard a female voice (I was the only one down there at the time) swear. I told her clearly that I DO NOT SWEAR. I was trying to defend myself as best as I could. She told me to sit in her room and that I interrupted her work. I didn't know that she didn't have a class that period/block/whatever you want to call an 2 hour class. I was like what the heck. She crazy! haha! Then I started laughing and my friends started laughing also. She took me to my teacher and told her. My teacher was like ok whatever...haha! She's awesome! I asked her later about it and she said that she would like to defend me but she wasn't there to witness it. I don't understand that part because my teacher wasn't there to see it so she couldn't do anything about it. Even if she was she would've backed me up. In the school I go to there isn't a rule that says, "you can't swear or you'll get written up" or whatever you think is bad at your school. The whole thing here is for a laugh! None of my teachers are that psycho, but they can come pretty close. I honestly can't think of something like that at the moment. (which might be good.) |

This is completely unrelated to your poll, but why did you put that you have lunch at noon central time? Why is the timezone relevant? And isn't Alabama in Eastern timezone anyway?

Don't worry. I think it's a perfectly good thread. It's just that some people on here have a hard time creating discussion without first being force fed someone else's words and ideals.
 A lot of teachers have a "special" kind of mentality. It seems like the teacher you speak of has just the kind. They have a little bit of power and take it way too far most of the time. I couldn't stand teachers like that, and they were the only kind of teachers I ever had trouble with. Funny thing is, I usually ended up getting them in trouble. It's always fun to outwit authority.
