What are some clothing, shoes, accessories, hairstyles, etc. that you dislike?

I personally really hate shutter shades stubborn.gif . No offense to anyone who likes them. I think they look really dumb, though.

I hate how Ed Hardy/Sailor Jerry shit is in style. It makes it more readily available, but it makes it SO much more expensive. Most people that wear it don't even know who Sailor Jerry or Ed Hardy are.

I don't like the whole shaggy hair thing. I left my school for 1 year, and i go back and they all have shaggy hair.
And guys who were shirts with those girl shirts you can get at hot topic, that are white, with pink, baby blue, yellow, bright green, and purple.

Yeahh, I know that, I just saw the topic title and felt I had to say it because I had it in my head when I saw it, I gave my contribution to the fashion part, so why does that even matter?

I don't like the shaggy hair thing either, it's just a way for guys to cover up their face I guess biggrin.gif

Emo hair. WTF?! It's honestly going to be like the mullet of the 80s, all you emo's out there are gonna look back at your high school pictures and be like...oh dear God. What was wrong with me?!

I hate, hate those tent-like tops that these middle-aged women in Hong Kong, and it's worn with leggings. It just looks so bad on them. I mean, typically they have bigger midsections so putting themselves in a tent really isn't going to do them any favours. I want to throw a waist-cinching belt at them so badly.

Foam flip flops. Buy some nicer sandals, come on.

Gladiator sandals, the ones that are knee-high. Some Most people can't pull them off.

Shirts that are embellished with a brand name, slogan or saying in rhinestones. I especially hate the tiny black T-shirts that read "bebe" in those rhinestones. OMG that is so 90s.

I could probably list more but I'm jetlagged.

...people letting their fat hang out.
it's like...c'mon. srsly. you're in public, for the love of god.
also, people wearing wrong sizes. especially when their fat is hanging out.

and of course, crocs.

and this is probably just me, but you know those stupid little girly wallet things that are like two inches thick? those are so old for me. bigger bill folds and such are alright, but the other ones...ugh. ew. just get a wallet.

Shirts over tights/pantyhose. I'm generally okay with the combination, but if the shirt isn't long enough to cover your butt, FIND ANOTHER SHIRT! I don't want to see your ass covered with only a super thin super tight piece of cloth.

Gladiator shoes in general (in any shape, colour, or size). When people around me wear them, I'm not exactly pissed off/annoyed... I just don't say anything. Others around me would be complimenting them ("Oh, those shoes are so cute! Can I try them on?"), and I'd just stand there and give a fake smile.

Tight jeans on guys (or girl jeans on guys). Sorry Tung, but if I can see your junk from a mile away... no. And I have the idea that pretty much all guys who wear super tight jeans that accentuate their stuff are just trying to show off that theirs is bigger than it actually is.

I don't know if it's exactly a trend, but it's really annoying when people are trying to clash too much on purpose... Like, a motorcycle jacket with a shift dress, patterned leggings and moccassins.

Anything 80's is almost always bad in my book.

I never really liked gladiators either, or fringe pinch.gif

rolleyes.gif
Yea sadly one of the artists that I like is starting to draw penguins because they are like most requested, and I'm pissed off about it.

wearing bright colors is good
people who do are usually energetic and outgoing with a positive outlook and lifestyle

its all a psychological thing
color has a huge effect on mood and attitude
wearing dull dark shades or a lot of black will depress your attitude and slow down you mind

just my thoughts lol happy.gif

Oh oh oh I love these kinda topics.

Buying for the brand. People who buy something simply cause they can flaunt they can afford it. Especially when they buy a lot of this type of clothing and clash it together. At least make it look nice?

That's probably my only angry problem with trends xD

- DOUBLE SEAM true religions. ugly. so fucking ugly.
- leather/lame/latex leggings UNLESS it's on the richie, olsens, lilo or some other dying skinny model.
- patchwork coach, patchwork poo, patchwork anything.
- shapeless dresses that make girls look fat as fuck.
- beater over polo. tank over shirt, whatever. AHAHAHA, so ugly.
- agyness deyn. not a trend but i might as well throw her in here.
- light wash jeans or jeans that were dark wash but washed too many times that they become light wash.
- shitt-ly teased hair that makes it look like they have a pillow under their hair.
- ed hardy jeans. i kinda dig the hoodies, hats and shirts but the jeans are fucking disgusting.
- chipped nail polish.
- ugly bitches that fail at tryna dress "american apparel". i like hot bitches that can pull it off though.
- anything chanel cambon or neon chanel anything.

:) :)

I know guys that wear them and have absolutely nothing. It's just...flat. It sort of makes me giggle and feel sorry for them.

Why would you show that off?

also, american eagle, ridiculously priced holey jeans, abercrombie and fitch, hollister, etc.

guys who have to hold up their jeans [at their knees] or walk with their legs as far apart as possible so that they can keep the jeans up, instead of getting a belt...

Oh, I just saw a severe case of this today!!! One guy and one girl were both wearing costumes that consisted of shirts that did not even come close to covering their bums with BIGHT BLUE LEGGINGS. The crotch and butt bumps/grooves/cracks were pretty there for all to see. Needless to say, it was disturbing.

It's not a trend or clothing but I notice it a lot in emo music(especially metro station's shake it). When singers in the band talk/sing and they sound all whiny and or try to sound sexy.
Example: I'll take you home if you don't leave me at the front doorrahh(trails off into whispered moan)
STFU! >.<

When fat girls overcompensate for being fat and look way too dressed up.

with curled and badly highlighted hair, that's the worst.
Just adding.

It's not a trend or clothing but I notice it a lot in emo music(especially metro station's shake it). When singers in the band talk/sing and they sound all whiny and or try to sound sexy.
Example: I'll take you home if you don't leave me at the front doorrahh(trails off into whispered moan)
STFU! >.<

- crocs
- uggs [ex - ITS MIAMI, its hott as balls over here, if it was like up north, alright, but c'monnn] stubborn.gif
- tights/leggings
- korean-style clothing [those baggy shirts]
- ballet flats [lets leave them to the ballet dancers, please]
- super super tight jeans on guys
- v-neck shirts [they bother me] ermm.gif
- anything with bling on it [rhinestones]
- gladiator sandals
- shudder glasses
- high top shoes
- air force ones [too heavy]
- 'ghetto' clothes

& ESPECIALLY when fat people are wearing clothes that are too tight for them, i shudder in their presence. ugh.

OH! did you know there's a new creation which is a croc & a ugg combined as one shoe? yuckkkkkk.

Lol @ Tung. Rocawear has really crossed over the past few years...do your homework. I am so happy that the girl jeans thing is fading out...that was hecka annoying. Posers that wear vans are one of my biggest pet peeves.

I HATE when all those people wear those stupid ass belts over stuff. Like, WTF, why are you wearing a belt over a shirt? I really hate those really big "corset" belts that have all that metal shit all over the place. Ugh. Like the picture below, if it comes up.

Crocs, and guys wearing their sisters pants. I also hate when fat chicks try to wear something 10 sizes to small and their belly hangs out *gags*

Skinny ties. Euro-trash.

When I see a guy wearing a skinny tie with a battered suit, shirt unbuttoned with flat-front pants that are a size too small so you can see his socks scrunched up around his ankles; I cringe.
