Recently, Chromeo, MGMT, and The Ting Tings. It's funny, I hated Chromeo and the Ting Tings when I heard of them at first. Too bad I can't stop listening to their songs now.

I didn't like Bedouin Soundclash when I heard their first single, but I'm really into their stuff now! And I actually went through that with John Mayer too. My sister introduced me to his stuff back when I was still in elementary school, but I thought he was boring. We all know my opinion has changed now. =P

Apollo Heights. Someone told me to check out their music months ago on myspace, and I was like, "Nah".

Decided to check them out not too long ago, good stuff. They kind of remind me of TV on the Radio. Whom I had slept on for a quite a bit until I finally decided to listen to their cd (which I had underneath the seat of my car for over a year at that point.)

Radiohead. I totally didn't understand their appeal when I was younger, but then again, I was listening to the Spice Girls.

The New Pornographers. Thought they were really annoying at first, but the weird time signatures really caught on. And same with Sufjan Stevens.

And how about a whole genre - (alternative) folk? I always thought I hated it, but it's really grown on me. Neko Case, Jenny Lewis, Fleet Foxes, etc.

I am not to big on screamo, but i do like some of it, so when they did the "Calvery Boys Crank Dat" I wasn't to big on it.
But there music is pretty good, and really funny.

Boys like Girls.

I thought they were just another dumb band but now I LOVE their songs. <3

Also (please don't hate me!!!) Coldplay.
I was stupid. I thought their music was boring.
I always changed the channel when their music came on. I was young and stupid and I didn't understand the appeal of "soothing" music. It was around "The Scientist" times. Then I heard another song by them, I think it was Speed of Sound, and then I went back and listened to everything that I had missed and I felt so STUPID.

how could i?
