Ok, this is totally retarded. Just humor me.

Please say who you are (your real name, if you don't mind) and something about yourself (hobby, movie you just watched and enjoyed, etc.)

The next person should respond and say something about the above person's hobby or whatever then say their name, and something about themself.

Does that make sense? Probably not. I'm not terribly adept at giving directions such as these. I could never be a school teacher. lol

Anyway. My name is Rebecca and I enjoy reading comic books, particularly DC and Vertigo prints such as Justice League of America, Preacher and Hellblazer.

Hi Rebecca! I don't really read American comic books, but I do like reading Japanese manga. :D

My name is Zephyr and apparently most of my posts are in the Food forum, which makes me kind of sad.

Hey Mackenzie. I had this set of watercolour pencils once (well, I still do somewhere), but my artistic talents pretty much extended to using them as normal coloured pencils.

Anyway, I'm James, and I have a conviction that I'm actually from the town of Star's Hollow, Connecticut, where wit and sarcasm will always find their berth.

Hello, Arjuna. Nice to meet you! laugh.gif
I don't know what lamp is (care to explain)? Photography is an expensive hobby, thus, I haven't truly explored it... but, I really hope to one day. My cousin is really into it and I shoot on his Pentax from time to time. As goes music, I scream sometimes.

My name is Nate, and I'm the smartest person in--- er, I mean, I'm a film enthusiast and one day would like to write/direct my own independent feature film!

EDIT: I'm also, apparently, really slow at typing.

well depends basically man, those cheap acoustics really suck and not worth the investment, if you want a decent good sound you can try yamaha or fender acoustic guitars I have a washburn currently spent almost 800+ XD it has a nice sound but you shoudlinvest in a guitar at least 250+

but on topic

another hobby of mine I like to write things, and poems too.

Hi Everybody!

My name is Tung. Yes strange name indeed, but I got some perverted comments from girls I've introduced myself to. tongue.gif Anyways, I'm a 3rd year undergrad student and a double major. I'm a pre-pharmacist, and an Asian American Studies major. I like going to the mall and shopping, and I'm a shoehead. I have tons of shoes that doesn't even fit my apartment, so I left like half of my collection at my parents house. I love going swimming, working out, going to fastfoods and eating and just having a great time.

I like meeting new people, and I like to joke around alot. You can say I'm pretty much the same here on the forums as I am in person. I'm still that talkative, controversial, love-the-drama, funny kind of dude. People usually either hates me or they love me. There really is no in betweens. Anyways, bye. happy.gif

HI LINDA! I'm graduating in the same year as you! :D

I like John Mayer too (my sister brainwashed me) even though I generally don't listen to music in English. Most of the songs I have are in Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and whatever language Josh Groban sings some of his songs in (I never bothered to find out).

Hmm, I think they're probably in Italian. It definitely doesn't sound like German, and my brother (who took French in school) didn't recognize it as that.

ZOMG Wagner is like hell on cheek muscles if you're an oboe player. The brass really love him, though. I heard one of his operas ("The Ring," I think?) is like five days long. I can't imagine playing it. >_<

Hmm, lemme think. I'm an oboe player, and I've been playing for 6+ years now. I got pwned in my seating audition for my youth symphony a week ago and now I'm really depressed.

josh groban performed for my h.s. a good year before his "you raise me up" single got released. at the time, i didn't know who he was, but my vocal major friends knew about him 'cause they prolly had to sing his songs in class. i didn't think "you raise me up" would get too popular, but now i hear it every freakin' graduation.

@tung, you're wrong. i feel pretty in-between about you, but then again, i feel that way about a lot of people. i also used to be pre-pharmacy, but currently i am more focused on biochem. i'm don't think i even want to be a pharmacist anymore.

@olivia, i like tennis, too ;]. i'm very attached to my first racquet, given to me by my uncle. i still play with it even though it's heavy and at least 15 years old -_-"

Lol, Carrie, for real. I feel I've managed to negciate my way through my first year of college while avoiding actual class as much as possible, and have succeeded remarkably.

I hate my crappy waiter job where I don't even make minimum wage, and have to tolerate people being snotty at me, instead of stabbing them with the breadknife like a normal person.

A spork would make it more painful. And isn't it called minimum wage for a reason?

I need to find a job so that I can support my bubble tea addiction.

Well. Techincally, I bring in enough money to make minimum wage, but my hourly rate is less, because I'm expected to make up my actual wage out of tips.

It's the resteraunts nice way of conning their employees. YAY!

Haha! Restaurant jobs are awesome even though you get paid minimum. Because most of the time the tips you make usually covers that, and you actually make alot. Depends on what restaurant though, and if it's a populated place or not.

Anyways, I'm Tung again, and love to pig out after a long work out! happy.gif

Hi, Moni. wave.gif I used to be able to do that when I lived in my old apartment but now I won't be able to since I've been down and in with my grandmum. :(

My name is Jane and I'm afraid of balloons. People think I'm kidding or they think its humorous to take a random balloon out of nowhere and rub it in my face until I burst into tears, which makes them uncomfortable.

Thomas - Wow, school starts early for you!
Carrie - I wanted to change my name to Daisy when I was 7 because of Daisy Duck. I screamed and cried when my mother told me it sounded like "piece of poop" in Cantonese.
Jane - It's okay, I'm afraid of whales!! I even freaked out when I saw the images of whales in the background while those people sang at the Olympics opening ceremony.

And because I'm so afraid of whales, I know that I will never be able to go whale-watching... so I got a caricature artist to draw me doing just that. The picture's hanging in my bedroom wall right now. xD

I once stayed up all night the night before my flight back home just so that I could sleep on the plane and not get jet lag.

Oh, and people never hit on me. Or at least, I can't tell they're hitting on me. (Probably the former)
