So, I just recently found out not too long ago that we had 50 states...did you guys know this?
 I even double checked on the American flag to make sure there were the right number in stars...and there were 50...my life is a lie.I could've sworn there were 51! I mean, didn't they base the movie 51st dates on how many states there were?

Aren't there a couple states that aren't "officially registered" or something, though? I think Texas was one, but I don't remember exactly.

My headmaster once delivered a Monday speech about something to do with America, and he mentioned there being 52 states, and I remember gasping out loud, and being shhed by my head of house...
