The doctor who delivered my baby cousin cut her umbilical cord crappily, so now she has a really really weird outie. Poor thing. =(

Erm, what determines whether you're an innie or an outtie actually has nothing to do with how the doctor cuts your umbilical cord. Usually, when they clamp and cut it, they leave a bit hanging and the litle umbilical cord stump falls off within the first few weeks of birth

And I'm an innie.

Wow, I always thought it had something to do with how it was cut LOL. Damn, poor cousin... I remember when my aunt asked the doctor about it, he suggested that she should just keep trying to push/rub the belly button in gradually or something.................... wtf?
