he's my boyfriend-ish type person i guess; he asked me out and we're going on a date soon. i like him most of the time, like when he's sweet. like the other day he wrote a song for me because i was upset, and it made me feel so much better. but he can be so immature and sometimes i just think he's annoying. i don't know, am i being too picky? i know you can't change someone, so i'm not going to try to. what should i do?

Wait how old are you? jw Anyways I have dated a sweet guy and very immature. I really don't like it, I like mature guys  but if he is sweet to you and treats you well, he will grow on you

Depending on how much you like this person, you should probably focus more on the things about him that make you happy.
I mean, there has to be something about you he doesn't like. Be fair. You seem to be thinking too far into the future. Just focus on the date first, and then see where you guys go from there. He might prove to be a totally mature and dashing gentleman after all. |

hmm, i think you should see how the date goes first before you completely duck him. lol. but if he doesn't grow on you, then maybe its not such a good idea. i can't deal with immature guys, they get too annoying.

I'm not too sure what you mean by immature. It means different things to different people. I think that you should give him a chance though. It's only one date. If you end up not liking him (or downright can't stand him) than don't go on another.

Well, nobodys perfect.
I'm pretty sure hes just trying to be modest with the whole "but I'm not" thing. See how the date goes first and then make another judgement. You could be wrong, you never know.

You're 16, it's not like one date means you're going to marry the guy. Like I said, at least give him a chance. But don't stay with him if it's out of pity, because that's just unfair to the both of you.
