So apparently one of the roads near me is supposedly haunted by a Woman In White, which my friend told me about today, apparently she actually avoidsdriving dow there at night if she's on her own. My natural instinct as to go lookingfor it, but that's just me, I guess.

Also, apparently if you drive under this old bridge near my house at night and stop on whtever date, and you look in the rearview mirror, you can see the reflection of a guy who hung himself there a few years back.

Are there any of that kind of local myth or whatever you want to call it specific to your area? I'm just into ghost stories and stuff, I guess.

anyway apparently the woods around my house is where this girl supposedly got kidnaped and murdered and they never found the dude who did it..my old ass neighbor said he still lives in the neighborhood. if that's true dude is around like 90 now. there's always a bunch of kids who try to go there on halloween.

All the myths around my area are fairly generic. "2pac lives" and such.

Yeah there was a legend of this half man half goat looking dude that would walk the roads at night. They say people who came across it came up missing. I knew goat man wasn't real because back in the day he didn't kill my English teacher who said she had a flat at night one time. Now that I think about it I kinda of wish goat man got her so that we could have got an automatic A or something.

In Augusta we have a haunted pillar. Legend has it that a slave was whipped to death there and she before she died she put a curse on the pillar: whoever tries to destroy/romove it will die. It just stands there on it's own randomly in the middle of the sidewalk downtown.

It even has it's own Wikipedia page tongue.gif : Haunted Pillar

Where i live theres a huge part of the section with a bunch of old beautiful victorian homes that are really meant for the summer And mainly a bunch of rich old tourist own them
(some are nice there)
I live down the road from bayview, which its called, and apparently its haunted.
The people who own them are allowed to live in them from April - November and then they board them up for the winter.
Apparently some people have said that when they snowshoe in there they can hear someone singing opera in the opera house when its all locked up.

These homes have been up since about the 1800's.
I would love to go there in the winter to see if i can catch anything.

There's a red barn down around my house that hosts demonic rituals. Athens, Ohio is like 3 hours away from me but it's worth mentioning. Alot of wierd things have happened. Like this girl killed herself in her dorm room and wrote demonic messages all over the walls in her own blood. The university kept painting over them but the messages kept seeping through the paint.
