It may be a stupid question or not.. but have you guys read the user guide to your program (Photoshop, PSP.. etc.) or do you rely on tutorials?

BTW.. I use PSP 9.

Well, when it comes to PSP, I just search online. It's a lot easier and you can usually find a lot more shortcuts and tricks.

When it comes to other software (and mostly anything) I usually give it a go and if I get stuck then I might look in the user guide.

Nah, just experiment yourself and google for tutorials. Photoshop was easy to learn(granted I had experience...).

Nope, I don't even read the little books with games.

There are always tutorials that you can find or go to that are a lot easier and quicker to read.

No, I've never actually sat down and read it just to learn. I usually search for things when I need specific help because I know most of the functions off the top of my head, just through practice.
