I was confused two minutes into the episode. I understood the parts with Hiro, Mohinder, Claire, and Sylar (until the very end), but everything with Nathan, Peter, and Nikki/Jessica/Tracy/whatever-they-need-to-kill-her-off made my brain hurt.

iuno I'm pretty pleased as well; I'm glad that there was tons of action as that's one of the reasons why Heroes is so fun to watch. true there were some confusing parts, but that's also what makes the show more interesting. unanswered questions are always fun :D

^ I'm hoping that she isn't a clone and what Dr. Zimmerman was possibly referring to is that he gave her a power (sort of like what that dummy Suresh did to himself). I think there would be a bit of irony if someone out there knew that an average person's gene could be mutated (given powers) and that the powers stem from adrenaline. I also think it would be neat if Tracy were in fact, Jessica somehow. They were born at the same hospital, treated/birthed by the same physician.

There isn't, really. Both are pyrokinetic. But I remember from science class that blue flames are hotter than regular orange-red flames. So maybe he's more evolved or has more experience using his powers?

Oh and for the Peter thing. It's stupid. Wouldn't there be technically a MILLION peters? Like a Peter of 10 years into the future, or a Peter of 5 years of the future, or a Peter of present, or a Peter of 20 years into the future? That's what I'm confused about.

There would be a bazillion of everyone! But right now there are only two Peters because that future Peter decided to go back in time and screw everything up.

No there wouldn't be a million of everyone. There would only be a million of everyone who can time jump/warp/whatever.

But there would be a bazillion of everyone anyhow, because people who can bend time can bring others along. And I mean that at one time, the ___ in one dimension can be getting something eat while the ___ in another dimension can be going to the washroom, etc etc etc.

You see, this is what I love and hate about Heroes. You can look so deep into it, but there's never an actual answer.

Theoretically speaking there would be an infinite amount of everyone, because if you think of time as a line, as in a mathematical line, then it is made of an infinite number of points (points in time) which take up no space. As time is continuous you could technically have a version of you for every moment in time, which is infinite, even in the mere span of a second.
