Apples don't have the F11 option so there should be an instruction on how to take grabs on an apple without needing to try to get the window perfect for a selection grab without cropping. If there is a way to do this, I'm clueless to it & I'm sure there is a way, but I'm also sure I'm not the only one who needs to know. thanks. :)

I Believe you can just use apple - shift - 4 which lets you drag the selected area across the whole desktop. Right? That's what I would do.

apple+shift+3 takes a whole screen grab, or as stated above, apple+shift+4 allows you to grab a section of the page (really handy)
