Can't really decide on best album ever since everyone has their own music tastes, but a few of my favorites are...

Killswitch Engage - Alive or Just Breathing
The Black Dahlia Murder - Nocturnal
Lamb of God - Sacrament
Darkest Hour - Deliver Us

Muse - absolution

I can't say that this would make a "best album" nod for me, but definitely an excellent album.

THRIIIILERRR.

Thriller is subjectively, one of the best and definitely a classic.
QUOTE(MikhailKristov @ Jun 9 2008, 01:11 PM) *
The Score, Fugees. 1996. Wyclef Jean, Lauren Hill, and Pras Michel.

Again, not sure if I'd qualify it as a "best album" but one of the best albums in recent history for sure.

Like many, I couldn't name one particular "best album." Albums I feel that are among the best are:
OK Computer - Radiohead
Francis the Mute - The Mars Volta
Let it Be - The Beatles
Pretty Hate Machine - Nine Inch Nails
VAST - self title album
Ritual de lo Habitual - Jane's Addiction
The Joshua Tree - U2
Nevermind - Nirvana
That's the Way of the World - Earth, Wind and Fire

Those are off the top of my head though.
