So I just thought I'd share this 7-day diet that is a cleansing/detox but also helps you lose weight. Its actually a pretty healthy diet as well as it gives your body only the nutrients and stuff it needs. I did it and it actually works. Its based on this soup that you can eat as much as you want when you're hungry, and then each day theres a certain other type of food you can eat.
The soup isn't bad but after a few days I got sick of it but I dealt with it. Just thought I'd share. _smile.gif

That diet will make you lose muscle weight from proteolysis. That's why it's used for overweight patients in order to lose weight quickly. A piece of fruit isn't a complete meal.

The soup actually sounds kind of good. laugh.gif

It's questionable how this diet cuts out bread completely. I know some other diets do that too, but eh. And like Reidar said, eating only fruit or only vegetables for a whole day (plus the soup) doesn't constitute complete meals.

But if it worked for you, that's good.

My biggest concern would be gaining the weight back as soon as you start eating regularly. Also, between the stewed tomatoes, beef broth and soup mix, that sounds like a lot of sodium.
