well last month i had 2 periods and I thought that it was just irregularity no big deal. Than I had another two this month and thought my body was just changing a bit. And finally at the end of the month i got another period, so basically now I'm worried. My mom scheduled an appointment for a doctor the beginning of next week. I want to know what I would expect and such, like what could this possibly be? Whats the treatment and how does this procedure go?(I'm worried if its awkward -_-)
Well anyway just extra info, I'm 14 and I got my period at like 11. My diet and exercise changed about last week but I started eating healthier and exercising 30 minutes a day.

Did you bleed as much as you do during normal periods, or was it just spotting (light bleeding)? Girls sometimes spot in between their periods, so I don't think that would be too serious.

I think your mom is having you see a gynecologist, who will examine your pelvic area, so it probably will be awkward. The gynecologist won't have an immediate treatment, it's just an examination, and maybe some meds will be prescribed to regulate your period (not sure on the meds bit, though). But seeing the gyno will be less awkward in the future.

Oh, I don't know what else I can say to help, then. Have you tried Googling "more than one period per month"? I'm sure other females have had this problem and you can read up on it.

I'm not too familiar with this. It is a good thing that you are going into the doctors though. You would be surprised as how many girls won't go and get help just because they dont want to have an "awkward doctor's appointment".

I don't think Google with tell you anything that you're doctor can't tell you. I would just suggest that you stay calm. Sometimes stress can change our bodies and you want to be your day-to-day self when you see the doctor. You will probably have the choice of if you want someone there or not (like you mom). If you get along with your mom it might be a good idea to have her come back with you. You'll probably be less nervous that way, and she's been to a Gyno before, so she'll know more of what's going on.

Just stay as calm about it as you can. Good luck! And if it's not too weird, let us know what the diagnosis is. I honestly haven't heard first hand of something like this.

I've had 2 last month but and ended up with one at the beginning of this month...it's because I do have irregular periods & it was changing from the end of the month to the beginning of the month & it did that for a while until I started birth control, but I stopped taking birth control last october, my mom said I might want to start back taking them to keep my periods regular

Strange.. and yes, seeing a doctor about it may be awkward. :S
I hope it gets sorted, they might just put you on medicines to make you more regular.
