Where they pour juice into a cup or pitcher, and it's like splashing everywhere. Sure, it's pretty, but the whole time I'm thinking, "OH MY GOD YOU'RE MAKING SUCH A MESS."

Or, "OH MY GOD YOU'RE WASTING SO MUCH!" I mean seriously, half of it isn't even going into the glass.

sad.gif

I just want to take the container away from them and pour it correctly into the glass.

Does this bother anyone else?

I've never even noticed that before. Maybe because I haven't seen many commercials like that (I've hardly watched TV in the past several months).

We know you have mild OCD, Dani, it's okay. console.gif throb.gif

ehh let's make a campaign to send all that extra juice to people who really need it.

They've been around for a really long time, like here's a really old one:

I can't find the one I've seen recently, once it airs again I'll look it up.

The one where they overexaggerate how much of a mess the kids make? Like how the kid tried to put the OJ into the glass and completely missed and made it fall on the floor? pinch.gif I feel you, bro. I feel you.

No like.. juice commercials, where they're pouring the juice into a glass, like "look how delicious this juice is!"

But instead of going into the glass, it's going like.. everywhere. Splashing out and stuff.

They do it in menus, too:

i actually like how that looks, like in an orange juice commercial or something.

I hate college commercials talking about how good the college is and blah blah blah, if the college was really even a good college it wouldn't be making commercials. You dont see Harvard putting out adds.

Just saying I hate those commercials.

OH BTW

I finally remembered what the commercial was. It was for this "fancy" Tropicana juice called "Pure Raspberry Acai".

Just to prove how easily impacted I am by commercials (no matter how bad they are), I bought some tonight. It's not worth the $4 I spent on the bottle.

For some reason when I read juice I thought of the V8 commercials, 'cause those are annoying.

I thought it was really cool when we got to learn how they do things with the food in commercials to make them look all good. We had people who do it for a living come into my classroom and work with us. It was really interesting.

Are we talking about commercials we loathe? 'Cause where I'm from, they have these really awkward and annoying "longer lasting sex" ads on the radio AND on billboards.

So far it hasn't caused any road accidents... yet _dry.gif

I have seen the 36 hour boner ones though. And the ones where they use innuendos.

I hate those commercials for those sex lines. They just get so ridiculous. They have these hot ass models that are terrible actresses lay on a bed half naked talking about how she'd rather stay home and talk to some perverted 65 year old guy than go out to parties with her friends. Why the hell would a girl that good looking need to use a "date-line" to get dates?

HAHAHA.
I can't stand that shit.
I also hate all the "anti-drug" commercials. It's a great idea and stuff, but they are just WAY too over dramatic.
I've gotten high A LOT and I have NEVER ran over a kid on a bike, shot myself in the head, or gotten so high that my body deflated.

Then again, maybe I'm doing the wrong drugs.

There's logic into your thinking, but remember, human are easily prone to appealing images which attracts them to purchase it. Not just drinks, but many stores like American Eagle, Abercrombie & Fitch, and many other unnecessary things but pretty ... like two guys and one girl ... who are semi-naked ... if you think about it, why would you want two guys and a pretty girl? is she a hoe or something? well, the purpose of this image is to display more sexiness and some lucky sex appeals.

Advertisement isn't entirely about logic. It's an art of expression whereas company want to display their image is a visual way. Chances of gaining profit would be higher rather than boring commercials.

To answer the topic, I dislike certain carl jr commercial when there was a skinny girl riding on a horse eating burger.

The focus of the comerical lacks emphasis on the burger. The girl is way too sensual and is stole the spotlight from the tasty burger especially how she performs in front of the camera. I thought it was so stupid of the company to shift the views of the public to that girl instead of a burger. Haha.
